keeping Your Word Sound

January 30, 2011

Words are the way we communicate with one another in the language we are familiar with.  It is a sound or a combination of sounds that symbolizes and communicates a meaning.  Words express what we are thinking and how we are feeling. They can make or break relationships. The words we say to ourselves and to others will empower us or enslave us. Have you ever heard people say when you ask them how they are, oh, I’m hanging in there? This is old survival talk. When I hear this it reminds me of a poster with a cat holding on for dear life. Is that how we are living our lives? This is a very low level of awareness. It is the fight or flight reaction to life’s circumstances and creates all kinds of stress within our bodies as well as produces events to show up that will support this level of belief. What if we changed the word survive to Thrive!  How are you today? Oh I’m thriving! Wow, what a difference a word can make. To thrive is to grow vigorously, or flourish, to improve steadily, as in wealth or position.

Survive means to remain alive or be in existence. Which word would you want to describe how you are living your life?  Just look at a plant that is thriving as apposed to one that is just surviving. The image is totally different.  Words have meaning. Encouraging words can change the course of a child’s life, just as discouraging words can. In books from Masaru Emoto entitled, The Secret Life of Water and The Hidden Messages in Water, he experimented by putting different words on water crystals and how the pattern of the water crystal changed according to the message it received. The water crystals that were either coming from a polluted source or inscribed with words that were of a low vibration, were distorted and not fully formed. The water crystals that were inscribed with enlightened words and or prayed over were beautiful fully formed geometric patterns. Our bodies are over 70% water. Our words vibrate a frequency that will empower us to thrive or just survive. Why not thrive?

Where are Your Thoughts Taken You?

January 26, 2011

Thinking is the highest function we are capable of.  Thoughts, we can not stop from thinking. Our minds are always moving from one thought to the next.  But until thought is linked with purpose there is no intelligent accomplishment. Thinking and mental activity is the difference between having a clear connection to source energy and the other is static. So how do we become calm enough to tune in and receive clarity? Meditate, breath slowly, listen to the quite voice within that is guiding us. Go to a quite place and relax your mind. When we are going about our day we are vibrating at Alpha frequency, this is where mental activity is taking place. No real thought processes occur here.  When we are in a relaxed state of mind, we are in Beta state and even quieter a Theta state, this is where you will get creative ideas and solutions and answers to questions.

Slow down, pay attention to your breathing, take a walk, listen to some soothing music, do anything to center and bring yourself back to a place of calmness.

The world is speeding up faster and faster, the key to becoming in alignment with this pace is to calm down rather than speed up with it. In the movie the Matrix, you saw how, when you become one with source energy, even a speeding bullet can appear like it is in slow motion when you are in your zone. When you’re vibrating at the same frequency you become one with the energy around you.

We are all here to become aware of our oneness with God.  We are all here to learn lessons and understand that we are all a reflection of each other. We are all here to open our hearts to each other and evolve. We are all here in this physical realm to express our gifts and live in the light! Where ever your thoughts are taking you, find a clear signal by becoming still. The answers to all life’s challenges are within. The sounds of silence, listen.

Question your Beliefs

January 24, 2011

What are the limiting beliefs that are holding you back from living the full rich life that is your birth right? Our beliefs are formed in our subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind has been programmed from the people and environment that we were exposed to since the time we were born.  Your beliefs might be entirely different than mine.  You see a belief is only a thought that you have been thinking for so long that you think it is true but a belief can change.

Once not to long ago, people thought that the earth was flat or that the sun revolved around the earth. Now we know these are not true.  These are collective beliefs. Most people have come to believe we are in a recession or even a depression. Well yes, I guess by the way things look in the world we are, but this is because we individually have bought into this lie.  We have allowed this to steep our consciousness. Mass consciousness is a very low level of awareness. We can believe that there are many opportunities available to create your own economy.

Through our conscious mind we can accept, reject, or neglect any thought, or idea. We have a choice, which we call our free will.  Once we have accepted a thought or an idea, it has been downloaded into our subconscious mind. This part of the mind can only accept. There is no free will here. It is like an auto pilot; once you program the setting it will only obey your command.  So, who is really in control of your life? Are you being lead by old limiting beliefs or are you living fully and paving a new way?  The paradigms of the past (paradigms are a bundle of beliefs) no longer empower us, rather they are enslaving us. We must individually and collectively forge a new way.

This will always feel uncomfortable because it is new uncharted territory. The unknown can feel frightening, but unless we feel this fear and do it anyway, we will remain shackled to imaginary chains keeping us from living a life of freedom.  So the question that you need to ask yourself is, do you want to crawl or fly?

I hope you choose to fly!

Possible or Impossible?

January 13, 2011

Nothing is impossible! Do you believe that? Napoleon Hill says “What the Mind Can Conceive and Believe it Can achieve. He actually cut the work impossible out of his dictionary.  With faith, a burning desire, persistence and a definite purpose anything can be accomplished!

If you were raised in any religious demonization you are taught to believe in God and have faith in the things you can not see although at the same time the messages we received are to the contrary. I will see it when I believe it. These mixed messages have distorted our ability to know that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. That if we believe we can, that we are right, as well as if we believe we can’t we are right too! We were given the power to choose, to use or free will. Our perception will chance or view and how we view the world will create our reality. What do you see? Do you see the possibilities or impossibilities? Do you look for solutions or focus on the problem? Through the study of quantum physics we know that our reality is created on what we are focusing on. We are the creators of our life! That is exciting!

The key is to exercise the mind to build strong mental muscles to focus on the things we want and off the things we do not want.  Tap into the resources and recesses of our amazing power and use it for good. As we evolve into this new world it is time to awaken to our magnificence and recognize it in our brothers and sister. We are all here to discover our gifts, we are all unique, we are all part of the whole. In Napoleon Hills book Think and Grow Rich he says “The subconscious mind(the chemical laboratory in which all thought impulses are combined and made ready for translation into physical reality) makes no distinction between constructive and destructive thought impulses. It works with the material we feed it through our thought impulses. The subconscious mind will translate into reality a thought driven by FEAR just as readily as it will translate into reality a thought driven by COURAGE or FAITH”.

Remember the title of the book is Think and Grow Rich not work hard and grow rich. Be part of the solution!

The Control of Paradigms

January 12, 2011

We are at a cross road in human evolution. The paradigm of the collective conscious is in crisis. A revolution is taking place. “Like a volcano that’s about to blow, a society that builds social order on  institutionalized soul denial gets progressively violent rumblings, until it looks as if civilization is coming apart at the seams. “ a quote from The paradigm Conspiracy.

All our systems that have been in place up until now are spewing to the surface. The ground under our feet has been taken away, there is no firm foundation. There is no security any more, there never was, we were under the illusion of a false sense of security. We are paving a new uncharted path directed by our inner compass.

This is what in naturopathic terms is called a healing crisis. Things appear to be getting worse but it’s just the bodies way of bringing the illness up and out to heal the core of the dis-ease. The same situation is occurring with our beautiful earth. Just like a caterpillar building its own chrysalis to go to sleep for months, so it can morph into a butterfly. It has to die unto itself to be reborn and to be set free.

Freedom comes when we confront, observe and are willing to release the paradigms of our mind. We must become aware that they are there. They have control over us. We can’t fix it. It’s like a fly beating its body against a window pane believing that it will eventually get out when there is an open door right next to it. Einstein said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. The only way out is to look within!

Change is inevitable, growth is optional. The evolution is already taken place, we are in the chrysalis. Eleonor Roosevelt a pioneer in the women’s movement said “We must do the thing we think we can not do.” It’s time we all take our power back and face our fears as a collective force, and awaken to a new and brighter tomorrow.

“Weave, weave, weave me the sunshine out of the pouring rain, weave me the hope of a new tomorrow and fill my cup again.”

Paradigm Shifts

January 11, 2011

Paradigms control every aspect of our life. They are deep rooted in our subconscious mind, lurking in the recesses to keep us trapped in patterns of behaving that prevent us from creating a life we view from the side lines.

These paradigms are formed from the time we are very young. Actually, when we are born we only have a subconscious mind so everything we see, hear, taste, touch and smell gets down loaded just like a computer. We are wide open and under the influence of our surroundings and people who influence us. By the time we are about 7 years of age, our conscious mind forms, but by now we are programmed; our paradigms are running the show. Our beliefs, self esteem, conditioning and habits are hard wired.

Paradigms are also controlling our society, which keeps us addicted to old world beliefs about health, wealth, religion, education, and relationships.

We need a new way:

The paradigms of the past are crumbling. The imaginary chains that have kept us locked into an illusion of limitation, lack, fear, prejudges and despair are erupting at the seams of humanity. We must individually and collectively look through a new lens, a new filter, to awaking to a new way. This is the only way humanity will survive. We can reboot, reload, and reprogram our subconscious mind through awareness and understanding of who we truly are. We are creators, we are physical form of spirit, and we are energy manifested with a conscious mind that is in control. As above so below. We must empower ourselves

We must face our taboos and our toxic patters with honesty and integrity, to find the internal compass rather than an external road map that will intuitively guide us to the new earth. We need to take personal responsibility for our own health and wealth;

The only way to change the paradigm of the addictive world culture we live in is to grab hold and pull out the deep roots of the invasive weeds that have spread ramped across our soil. It is time to claim our truth!

Young Living at Any Age

January 10, 2011

Lately I have been spending more time with people who are in their 80’s and 90’s. I find that so many are lonely, depressed and isolated. Their families do not visit them, or even call much. Many do not have friends or a social network.  Their minds have become atrophied because of lack of stimulation. Their on numerous medication for one thing or another which can be causing confusion and all sorts of side effects. This is very sad.

Why do we shun our aging population? Why are we so obsessed with youth? Like in the movie “The portrait of Doreen Gray”, the fountain of youth is a quest we seek above all else. Yes I too want to feel and look good but there is a warped attraction to maintaining youth forever. Plastic surgeries, Botox, and anti aging potions and lotions is a multimillion dollar industry. The goal is to put more life in our years no matter what age we are.

With age comes wisdom, stories, guidance, history and tradition.

There are many things that improve with age such as cheese, fine wine and scotch, trees antiques and a violin. Look at the character and majestic beauty of a mature tree, it’s breathtaking. Violins are really interesting because they only get better and more valuable when there played, otherwise they lose their ability to produce a good sound. Just like us we need to be played, we need to participate in life to stay in tune. If we don’t use it we will lose it. We need to keep our mind sharp by staying active. Learning new skills is so important in maintaining a healthy mind. Keeping our bodies active and eating a healthy diet will keep us looking and feeling our best at any age.

I also know people in their 80’s and beyond who are sharp, who are starting new adventures, travelling and enjoying their life. Age is a state of mind. Yes, our bodies will eventually wear out but our minds do not have to. Think of the possibilities if we gave life our all, if we weren’t afraid of old age and death. It seems we are so obsessed with youth because we are afraid of death. We hang on to an illusion and are afraid to live life. We are walking slowly to our grave. What if we grabbed life by the tail and toke the ride of our lives? What an adventure it would be. What a tale we would tell and a legacy to leave to our children. Live the life of your dreams:

Tuning Into Our Mother Earth= Energy Vortexes

January 9, 2011

Ancient people knew that wherever the earth’s energy gathered into a vortex was a sacred place. These strongly charged areas of the globe have also been the places where people have chosen to build churches, temples and other centers of spirit and learning. Places like Stonehenge, the Pyramids of Egypt, Easter Island, and so on are well known as vortex spots. There are three main types of vortexes – all three are replenishing and supercharged with high quality energy. The three vortex types are:

  • Electric – stimulates and energizes, activates
  • Magnetic – attracts energy to the area
  • Electromagnetic -both activates and attracts energy

There are powerful vortexes scattered around the globe that are, in essence, the Earth’s chakra system. Earth has both a major and a minor chakra system, just as people do. With the advent of modern life and wide spread pollution, the Earth’s chakras have become contaminated – and in need of clearing. Ancient mystics such as the Druids used song, sounds, and ceremonies to keep a chakra open, cleaned, and in proper working order. More and more people in the 21st century are remembering these old ways and are once again paying homage in ritual to the Great Mother. People are relearning the ancient shamanic and medicine way knowledge, centered on a relationship with the Earth. This not only helps heal the Earth, but affects the person strongly as well. Again, the relationship between the Earth and us is reciprocal. We affect each other in direct and subtle ways.

As people meditate and send energy to the Earth while close to a vortex point, most come to a common realization. These vortexes serve as portals – ones that humans can tap to touch their own higher dimensional selves. All of us have at least 12 layers of subtle bodies coupled with our current physical one. The Earth has these layers as well. When we are close to an active chakra of the Earth, it energizes us to “see” things the way they really are – multidimensional and ever evolving.

Although some may think vortexes and energy grids are pure fantasy, science is beginning to prove that this ancient teaching is actual fact. As Joseph Jochmans wrote in Earth, the Crystal Planet“In 1973, three Russians–historians Nikolai Goncharov, construction engineer Vyacheslav Morozov. and electronics specialist Valery Makarov–announced in the science journal for the Soviet Academy of Science, Chemistry and Life, their discovery of a geometric grid pattern which appears to interlink a wide number of natural phenomena into a single planetary system. Their work was based on the flndings of American researcher Ivan T. Sanderson who identified what he called twelve vile vortexes or electromagnetic energy disturbances located equidistant over the surface of the globe, the so-called Bermuda Triangle near the Caribbean and the Devil’s Sea off Japan being two of these. What the three Russians found was an underlying framework linking these centers into a dual crystal structure, a combination between an icosahedron and a dodecahedron. Not surprisingly, these happen to be the Fourth and Fifth Solids in the Platonic series, which were projected outward by the Earth for over the last million years or so.”

If you get a chance to rest and meditate at one of the major earth vortexes, do make sure that you listen closely. It is commonly accepted that there is at least one major chakra on each continent. The cardinal seven chakras are:

  • 1st chakra – Mt. Shasta, California
  • 2nd chakra – Lake Titicaca, South America
  • 3rd chakra – Uluru-Katatjuta, Australia
  • 4th chakra – Glastonbury-Shaftesbury, England
  • 5th chakra – Great Pyramid-Mt. of Olives
  • 6th chakra – Kuh-e Malek Siah, Iran
  • 7th chakra – Mt. Kailas, Tibet.

There are also four vortexes that govern the four elements. These are spinning energy portals where rituals done in a circle can open and heal the Earth, the participants and people at large. These four vortexes are sitated at:

  • Earth – Table Mountain, Cape Town, South Africa
  • Water – Lake Rotopounamu, North Island, New Zealand
  • Air – Great Pyramid, Mount of Olives
  • Fire – Haleakala Crater, Hawaii.

Some believe that certain vortexes are negative or vile in energy. A famous example is the Bermuda Triangle. A great resource for looking up various vortexes is the page, 10 Vile Vortex Locations

As well, seek out the minor chakras – the vortexes that are in your vicinity. Make a point to visit them regularly. As you do listen for the Earth’s ancient language. The Earth’s language reaches us via energy – light, sound, electromagnetic radiation, the elements, and so on. Do whatever your heart tells you to do in your sacred place – meditate, dance, sing, chant, drum, walk – whatever makes you feel joy and peace. By doing this you help the Earth to mend any tears and congestion in her chakras – help her revitalize her power. Any chakra work is great chakra work. When you work with one minor or major chakra it affects all of the other ones, around the globe.

Personal Power

January 8, 2011

Are subconscious beliefs sabotaging your..

Personal Power

If you got more “I can’t” than “I can” messages as a child, you are probably having more “I can’t” than “I can” experiences as an adult. In other words, if you heard messages from parents and other authority figures that told you that your opinion didn’t count and that your actions didn’t matter, you are likely to have subconscious beliefs that mirror those ideas. The result is often a person with deep insecurities about their ability to positively affect the course of their lives. Some people overcompensate for this feeling of powerlessness by making a career out of becoming powerful. Usually this sense of power is achieved by acquiring money, possessions and social status. Unfortunately, these external signs of power seldom satisfy the gnawing feeling of insecurity and powerlessness within. People with authentic power can have an abundance of money, possessions and social status, but their personal power does not come from the things they have, but rather from who they are.

Sample Beliefs:

  • I trust the decisions I make.
  • I trust the Divine guidance I am receiving.
  • I acknowledge my ability and responsibility to make a positive difference in the world.
  • I actively embrace the opportunities that come with change.
  • I am true to my personal vision.
  • I am willing to take the risks necessary to live my life openly and honestly.
  • I give myself permission to do what I love.

The Third Eye

January 7, 2011

Third Eye – Pineal Gland
The pineal gland was the last endocrine gland to have its function discovered. Its location deep in the brain seemed to
indicate its importance. This combination led to its being a “mystery” gland with myth, superstition and even metaphysical
theories surrounding its perceived function.
The Pineal gland is occasionally associated with the sixth Chakra (also called Ajna or the third eye Chakra in yoga). It is
believed by some to be a dormant organ that can be awakened to enable “telepathic” communication.
In the physical body the eye views objects upside down. It sends the image of what it observes to the brain which
interprets the image and makes it appear right side-up to us.
But the human body has another physical eye whose function has long been recognized by humanity. It is called the
‘Third Eye’ which in reality is the Pineal Gland. It is long thought to have mystical powers. Many consider it the Spiritual
Third Eye, our Inner Vision
It is located in the geometric center of the brain. This correlates to the location of the Great Pyramid in the center of the
physical planet.
The Pineal Gland is about the size of a pea, and is in the center of the brain in a tiny cave behind and above the pituitary
gland which lies a little behind the root of the nose. It is located directly behind the eyes, attached to the third ventricle.
The true function of this mysterious gland has long been contemplated by philosophers and Spiritual Adepts. Ancient
Greeks believed the Pineal gland to be our connection to the Realms of Thought.
Rene Descartes called it the Seat of the Soul, believing it is unique in the anatomy of the human brain in being a
structure not duplicated on the right and left sides. This observation is not true, however; under a microscope one finds
the Pineal gland is divided into two fine hemispheres.
This gland is activated by Light, and it controls the various biorhythms of the body. It works in harmony with the
hypothalamus gland which directs the body’s thirst, hunger, sexual desire and the biological clock that determines our
aging process.
When the Pineal gland awakens one feels a pressure at the base of the brain. This pressure will often be experienced
when connecting to higher frequency. A head injury can also activate the Third Eye – Pineal Gland.
While the physiological function of the pineal gland has been unknown until recent times, mystical traditions and esoteric
schools have long known this area in the middle of the brain to be the connecting link between the physical and spiritual
worlds. Considered the most powerful and highest source of ethereal energy available to humans, the Pineal gland has
always been important in initiating supernatural powers. Development of psychic talents has been closely associated with
this organ of higher vision.
There is a pathway from the retinas to the hypothalamus called the retinohypothalamic tract. It brings information about
light and dark cycles to a region of the hypothalamus called the suprachiasmatic nucleus(SCN). From the SCN, nerve
impulses travel via the pineal nerve (sympathetic nervous system) to the pineal gland. These impulses inhibit the
production of melatonin. When these impulses stop (at night, when light no longer stimulates the hypothalamus), pineal
inhibition ceases and melatonin is released. The pineal gland is therefore a photosensitive organ and an important
timekeeper for the human body.
Retinal research done with hamsters demonstrates another center for melatonin production. Located in the retina, this
center implies that the eyes have their own built in circadian timepiece. This retinal system is distinct from the brains
body clock in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN). Biologists found that they could throw the retinal rhythms out of sync
with other circadian cycles. They also found that they could set and reset the retinal clock even when the SCN was
The retinal clock produces (stimulates the production of?) melatonin. Researchers are now looking for the exact location
(s) of this clock in the human eye (and expect to find it). No one yet knows what the separate clock is for or how it relates
to the SCN.
In some lower vertebrates the Epiphysis Cerebri – Pineal Gland – has a well-developed eye-like structure; in others
though not organized as an eye, if functions as a light receptor. In lower vertebrates, the pineal gland has an eye like
structure and it functions as a light receptor and is considered by some to be the evolutionary forerunner of the modern eye.
The gland weighs little more than 0.1 gram. The gland is large in children and begins to shrink with the onset of puberty.
It appears to play a major role in sexual development, hibernation in animals, metabolism, and seasonal breeding. In
humans it affects circadian rhythms, sleep patterns (melatonin levels increase at night), and is implicated in seasonal
affective disorder. The abundant melatonin levels in children is believed to inhibit sexual development. When puberty
arrives, melatonin production is reduced.
The pineal gland secretes melanin during times of relaxation and visualization. As we are created by electromagnetic
energy – and react to EM energy stimuli around us – so does the pineal gland.
When activated, the pineal gland becomes the line of communication with the higher planes. The crown chakra reaches
down until its vortex touches the pineal gland. Prana, or pure energy, is received through this energy center in the head.
With Practice the vibration level of the astral body is raised, allowing it to separate from the physical.
To activate the ‘third eye’ and perceive higher dimensions, the pineal gland and the pituitary body must vibrate in unison,
which is achieved through meditation and/or relaxation. When a correct relationship is established between personality,
operating through the pituitary body, and the soul, operating through the pineal gland, a magnetic field is created. The
negative and positive forces interact and become strong enough to create the ‘light in the head.’ With this ‘light in the
head’ activated, astral projectors can withdraw themselves from the body, carrying the light with them.
Astral travel, and other occult abilities, are closely associated with the development of the ‘light in the head’. After
physical relaxation, concentration upon the pineal gland is achieved by staring at a point in the middle of the forehead.
Without straining the muscles of the eye, this will activate the pineal gland and the ‘third eye’. Beginning with the
withdrawal of the senses and the physical consciousness, the consciousness is centered in the region of the pineal
gland. The perceptive faculty and the point of realization are centralized in the area between the middle of the forehead
and the pineal gland. The trick is to visualize, very intently, the subtle body escaping through the trap door of the brain. A
popping sound may occur at the time separation of the astral body in the area of the pineal gland.
Visualization exercises are the first step in directing the energies in our inner systems to activate the ‘third eye’. The
magnetic field is created around the pineal gland, by focusing the mind on the midway point between the pineal gland
and the pituitary body. The creative imagination visualizes something, and the thought energy of the mind gives life and
direction to this form.
‘Third eye’ development, imagination, and visualization are important ingredients in many methods to separate from the
physical form. Intuition is also achieved through ‘third eye’ development. Knowledge and memory of the astral plane are
not registered in full waking consciousness until the intuition becomes strong enough. Flashes of intuition come with
increasing consistency as the ‘third eye’ as activated to a greater degree, through practice.
The pineal gland corresponds with divine thought after being touched by the vibrating light of Kundalini. Kundalini starts
its ascent towards the head center after responding to the vibrations from the ‘light in the head.’ The light is located at the
top of the sutratma, or ‘soul thread’, which passes down from the highest plane of our being into the physical vehicle.
The ‘third eye,’ or ‘eye of Siva,’ the organ of spiritual vision, is intimately related to karma, as we become more spiritual
in the natural course of evolution.
As human beings continue to evolve further out of matter, on the journey from spirit to matter back to spirit, the pineal
gland will continue to rise from its state of age-long dormancy, bringing back to humanity astral capacities and spiritual
At certain brainwave frequencies, a sense of ego boundary vanishes. In the theta state, we are resting deeply and still
conscious, at the threshold of drifting away from or back into conscious awareness. As the brain enters deeper states,
our consciousness is less concerned with the physical state, our ‘third eye’ is active, and separation becomes natural.
Many native traditions and mystical practices refer to the ability of ‘seeing,’ or being aware of energy fields at higher
levels. This abstract awareness is much more subjective and does not involve the normal level of mundane
consciousness, which is mostly concerned with self-identity. This ‘seeing’ refers to the sight of the ‘third eye’.
Consciousness is raised from an emotional nature into an illumined awareness when the pineal gland is lifted from
dormancy. If the pineal gland is not yet fully developed, it will be in the course of evolution. When our sense of ego and
personality are set aside and we keep our mental energy intact, we can become conscious of the non-physical, our inner
self, the subconscious, through different practices to activate the ‘light in the head.’
