Life As Art

November 27, 2012

Life is Art. What do you want to draw and create on your canvas? If any thing goes, how do you see your life? See your life as art and create as you move through it. Every thing you do is art. Every word you speak, every move you make, every piece of clothing you choose to wear and every thought you think is your creation. Make it fabulous! Every thing you observe can be transformed to art. Some times I see images in the clouds, or in a tree, or in cracks in the sidewalk. Just observe life as art and the world will reveal her wonders to you. So take the lid of your imagination and start dreaming. Become the artist, the sculpture, the dancer and the poet, because life is art. You are here to observe life as art and to create and blend your own unique art work in to the palate.
This world is here for your eyes only. See it as art and become the artist.

Feeling Abundance

November 20, 2012

If you are in touch with your divine self, you will feel an abundance of gratitude for life.
This can be very challenging for so many people struggling with the loss of their homes, cars, possessions, and other things that have been taken away by the wrath of hurricane Sandy here on the east coast of New York and New Jersey. I just got off the phone with a friend who lost everything. He is living in a temporary place and is not sure where to go and what to do next. I have been hearing many stories such as these every day for the last couple of weeks.  It has been a time of great sadness and reflection for many.
As we approach Thanksgiving, I just want to remind everyone that there is abundance everywhere in nature and if you focus your attention on all that we do have, more will come. If you keep your mind focused on the loss, more shall be lost. This is a law of the universe.
My parents came to the United States after the war and made a good life for themselves out of what appeared to be nothing. I know others who also came to this country with only $200 in their possession and became very wealthy.
Abundance is a state of mind. Even when it appears that everything is lost, if you keep your heart and mind open, there is still a glimmer of hope, faith and love that will begin to grow and expand bringing more and more into your life.
I am feeling abundance in every area of my life and am truly grateful to know that there are people who have a heart of gold.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Distractions, they are every where. The television, newspapers, internet, people, phone calls, the list is endless. We are constantly being bombarded with distractions. Until we have important and big goals that keep our mind focused, we will be quickly and swiftly carried off to distraction land.
Even with our goals at hand it will be tempting to be swayed by distractions. That is why it is so important to have your goals clearly written out and in front of you on a daily basis.
I know I can get pulled in different directions every day and if I didn’t have my goals in front of me, I would be all over the place. Meditation is also I wonderful ritual to practice every day to stay calm, focused and centered. It will eliminate distractions and keep your mind focused on your goals.
So tomorrow when you wake up, and your thoughts start taking you in every directions, take a deep breath, look at your goals, meditate, and your mind will stay on target and you will accomplish a whole lot more than you ever thought possible.
There is no attraction in distractions and there is no attraction with out the action, so stay focused. It is the key to your success.

How May I Serve?

November 5, 2012

How may I serve? I ask this question daily with an open heart. My purpose is to help humanity evolve into a higher level of consciousness. By asking God, how may I serve, he assists me, in putting me exactly where I am needed to be the most, at any given time, even it is waiting with patience.
So if you are searching for your purpose in life, just ask how may I serve and the answer will come.
I love Saint Francis Assisi’s Prayer,
Lord make me
an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred,
Let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, Joy.
O Divine Master grant that I may
Not so much seek to be consoled
As to console;
To be understood,
As to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
And it is in dying that we are
Born to eternal life.
So the next time you are feeling down, or that things aren’t working out for you the way you want, just recite this prayer and know that you can be of service to someone or many.
By asking, How may I serve, it will lift your spirits and shift the consciousness of everything around you. This is the time, this is the age of enlightenment.
Come join us in the light!
