Your Biography Becomes Your Biology

April 23, 2013

We become what we think about.  Every theologian, scientist and philosopher  disagreed on most every issue except this one. Actually your biography be??????????comes your biology. We hold our issues in our tissues. Our cells retain memories and by holding on to past events and experiences, we are either creating a healthy body or moving away from optimum health. It will dictate all the choices we make during the course of a day. Pay attention to your thoughts. Your thoughts will cause you to feel a certain way and your feelings will express themselves into actions, which will produce results in your life. For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction. This is a constant feedback loop. Your biography becomes your biology.
Think about it, change your thoughts and change your life!

Seek the Truth

April 16, 2013

truthWhat is the truth? The first thing to know about truth is that it is unchangeable; it is ageless and constant. It is the same for all of us.
The second thing to know about truth is that the discovery of truth serves a purpose.
“The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.” Winston Churchill
Shakespeare said “ To they own self be true”. There is an unwavering truth in all of us that is seeking expression in our own unique way. Listen to the voice inside of you that is yearning to release this truth.
All of our difficulties have arise out of the illusion that we are separate and different from each other and infinite intelligence. The truth is we are all one and have infinite potential. Seek this truth about yourself and believe it as your truth.
“Three things can not long be hidden; the son, the moon and the truth.”  Buddha
It will be revealed to you as you begin to live your highest calling. Your essence will attract all that is necessary for your purpose.
“Seek not greatness but seek truth and you fill find both.” Horace Mann

Too Much Information

April 10, 2013

analog informationWe are living in times where we are being bombarded by information. However, is the information we are receiving really accurate?  We are addicted to “digital information. This is information that, like a digital signal, is made up of bits and pieces broken off from the whole. There is another form of information called analog information, which comes to us as a wave. An article that I recently read by Philip Shepherd explains it this way, “Indigenous Polynesian sailors use information from the ocean waves to navigate their way across the Pacific and find an island up to five hundred miles away- an unimaginable feat to the colonial Europeans who first encountered them and still sometimes got lost even with sextants and compasses. This native navigational tradition was suppressed and prohibited by the Europeans, but it has survived. Navigators are chosen in infancy and are placed in tidal pools for hours, feeling the water’s rhythms and currant.”
They were attuned to the energy of the earth. Something we have forgotten.
Everything effects everything else. This is the butterfly effect. There is so much this earth has to teach us if we are open to receive this information as a whole and not in fragmented pieces. Listen from your Hara, your gut, and get out of your head. Be still and know that you are God.

Weeds in the Garden

April 2, 2013

weeds in the gardenHave you ever seen a garden over grown with weeds?  I was in the horticulture business for 23 years and I know that if I did not maintain a garden by weeding it weekly, eventually the weeds would take over. Well that is exactly what happens in our mind with negative thoughts. If we do not clear out our old negative thinking patterns, it will continue to get out of control and take over anything good that wants to come in. Nothing can grow. If you are feeling confused, doubtful, fearful, anxiety, depression or any thoughts that prevent you from living in abundance, you have weeds growing in your mind. It is time take to take stock of your beautiful garden and begin to do some spring cleaning. Start getting at the root of your issues and pull them up and out, then plant seeds full of bounty and prosperity.  You will be amazed at how your garden will begin to grow when you decide to clean it up, fertilize, water, and nurture it. So begin at once to pull up your first weed. Once your tending your garden it will reflect back to you the beauty that was underneath it all along. Enjoy the garden, and remember you reap what you sow.
