Do you have an idea? Is there something you thought of that can be useful for humanity? Nothing is more powerful that an idea, who’s time has come. If you have an idea and want to see it through to fruition, you must begin at once to fan it. An idea is like a tiny seed that wants to germinate. Unless you feed it, water it, give it sun, and proper amount of time to sprout, it will die and disintegrate in the wasteland of your consciousness. The best way to get a creative idea is to have lots of them. Stir up the imagination and think . All it takes is that one great idea. Once you have it, think about it often. Is there a business you want to start, an invention that can be useful? Keep feeding your mind with the idea and take action ever day toward it. If at first you don’t succeed try, try again. That seed of an idea will begin to grow, and before you know it the idea will have manifested into its physical form. I have an idea, lets all support each other in our ideas.
We become what we think about. This is an important truth that so many people forget. Our present living conditions reveal to us what our thoughts have been focused on. We have all heard, we become what we eat, and yes our physical diet is extremely important to our health. However our thoughts, contribute to our health in a much greater way. We become what we think about all day long. So what is on your mind?
Are you up for a mental diet? How about a challenge? Think only positive thought for 7 days. If you should find your mind drifting on to undesirable thoughts, then begin again at once, at that point to start again. Just like a food diet, train your brain to focus on only empowering thoughts. Thoughts that will lift you up. You will amazed as to how your life will improve on every front when you stay connected to the positive and good things around you. We become what we think about and if you want your life to improve in any way, whether it be health, wealth or wisdom, then take the challenge. This will be the hardest work you every did and the most rewarding.
I would love to hear the results of any one who is up for this challenge.
Nothing is good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
How do you stay young in spirit? We live in a culture that promotes youth. We see the magazines, television and internet advertising the latest and the greatest potions and lotions. Cosmetic surgery, botox injections and other techniques to look younger are every where. Anti-aging is the message we are being feed by the media. As I am getting older I am also getting younger in spirit. I love to learn, do new things and keep my mind active. Your subconscious mind never grows old. It is timeless, ageless, and endless. It is a part of the universal mind of God, which was never born, and will never die. As it is fine to keep yourself looking young, it is also more important to keep your spirit young. That is were the treasury lies. Trees are more valuable when they are mature. A Stradivarius becomes an instrument that is priceless, especially if it has been played. So, stay young in spirit. Learn something new, stay active and share your wisdom with our youth obsessed culture. Maybe, they will than change their image and want to be worth something too, one day.
Do you wish the world were better?
Let me tell you what to do.
Set a watch upon your actions,
Always keep them straight and true.
Rid your mind of selfish motives,
Let your thoughts be clean and high,
You can make a little Eden of the sphere you occupy.
Do you wish the world were better?
Well, suppose you make a start,
By accumulating wisdom,
In the scrape book of your heart,
Do not waste one page on folly,
Live to learn and learn to live,
If you want to give men knowledge
You must get it ‘ere you give.
Do you wish the world were happy?
Then remember day by day,
Just scatter seeds of kindness
As you pass along the way.
For the pleasure of the many
May be often traced to one,
As the hand that plants the acorn
Shelters armies from the sun.
Living the good life is a state of mind. I mind that requires disciple and focus on what is truly important. So many people look for the good life in things. We want more things but this doesn’t buy us the good life. We just then want more and more things to fill that empty void. We buy cheap goods thinking we can replace them if they break. However, there are no cheap goods in the heavenly market. Everything worth having is expensive. The good life comes at a price.
So many people give up when the going gets tough, or the challenges seem insurmountable, but just know that these are only tests to living the good life. Have faith, stand your ground, keep your mind strong and persevere.
We all want to live the good life. We can all live it too. Remember, when the struggle seems difficult and the road ahead looks impossible, there is always a way. If you keep your mind focused on the good life, a path will be revealed to you. Smile, believe and stand fast, refuse to be over come.
Here’s to living the good life!
