Don’t Steal My Energy!

Have you every felt drained and totally exhausted after you spend time with certain people? They are unaware of the negativity that they are spewing out but you feel drained after they leave your presence. There is a real chemical charge that people give off. Some people have a positive charge in which you walk away feeling good and others have a negative charge in which if your not careful you will get sucked into the vortex of this negative energy. So how do you protect yourself from the battering of toxic people that seem to be around? The 1st thing to do is notice how you feel around people. Listen to what they are saying and if their language is negative in any way, then extricate yourself from them as quickly as you can. Your intuition is a great guiding and honing system and the more you listen to it the more sensitive you will become to this energy. I get really uncomfortable around this energy and do my best to associate with people who converse in subjects that are uplifting and creative.

We only have so much energy, so why waste it or give it away freely? After all if it was money, you won’t give it away so freely. Keep yourself healthy and vibrant by surrounding yourself with people who you feel good around and there is an even exchange of energy all around!

Stretch Your Limits

Being flexible is so important for your body and mind. When I don’t take the time to stretch my body, I feel sluggish and ache.  The same thing goes for my mind! If I don’t take the time to learn  something new each day I get caught up in the trivia of life. I really enjoy growing and creating. Taking the time to go beyond what you think you can do is so important for your well being. When your body stays stills or sits around for too long your muscles will atrophy. The same is true with your mind. You must use your mental muscles  to stay sharp, stay focused and creative. There are many ways to stretch your limits however it can be challenging to know where to begin and how to get started. 

Just start by taking the time to write down a few things you want to accomplish. Look at it everyday and begin to take small action steps toward them.

The Junk In Your Head

The junk does not start in your trunk, it’s starts in your head! The junk will cause a funk. I know Iv’e been there!!! There have been times in my life where there was so much going on that  I felt completely overwhelmed. That junk keeps piling up and like weeds in the garden will continue to grow and over take your peace of mind. Bad habits begin to take over like eating to much unhealthy food, not having the energy to exercise and getting depressed. It feels like you just don’t know where to begin to clear out that junk. Well debunk that funk, that stinks like a skunk!

I know that the first thing I do to stop the thoughts that are creating a threat to my sanity is to get help. You must stop and realize that there is a power greater than ourselves. We have to ask for guidance from this universal source of love and surrender to this power. Next I being to gather my resources and focus on what I can do to get rid of the unwanted junk that’s causing the funk. I find things that I am grateful for and devise a plan that I can implement.

So if your feeling that your in a funk, ask for guidance.
