Until thought is linked to your purpose, there is no intelligent accomplishment.
We think around 70,000 thoughts a day! Wow, that’s a lot of thoughts! However, are we really thinking or just repeating a pattern of impulses that are on our to do list? To really think is the highest function we are capable of. We can think anything we want, but most of what is going through our minds is not positive, mind expanding thoughts. So how do we hone our thinking skills?
The first thing I recommend is taking time to release any thoughts that are creating busy chatter in the mind. If our minds are overloaded with tasks and scattered, we will have difficulty focusing on what is important and what challenges we are facing that need our attention.
Next, relax, breath and sit quietly. Allow yourself to take time to think about what you want to accomplish. Start imagining what can be possible if you had all the resources available to you. Now your wiring up some new neuro pathways to begin thinking on a higher level. If you engage in this practice ever day, you will begin to think clearly and create some great results!
