Life can get pretty tough sometimes. It can get dirty, messy and so damn hard. Many people are struggling with feelings that are pulling them down. Having a spiritual practice is vital when the going gets tough.
Recently I have been sadden by the death of a dear friend and another one that is fighting for his life, after a diagnose with leukemia. One thing after the next has set back is healing process. It is difficult to witness love ones hurting. I took in another friend into my home who is going through a tough time and I have a coaching client who also just lost her mother and nephew from a drug overdose.
I am so happy and grateful to have the faith that everything is for our highest good. I meditate every morning to stay connect to source energy. I take impeccable care of body by walking, dancing, gardening and other activities to stay healthy, I journal every morning, read inspirational books and listen to things that motivate me. Without this practice, it is easy to sink into a funky state of mind.
Even when you don’t feel like it, that is when it is most important to reach out, stay connected and have a practice that will give you the strength to pull yourself out of any situation that seems dire. You can get through it.
