Don’t be ashamed of your story it will inspire others.
I can’t even count how many messes I got myself into through the course of my life. Actually I wrote a book about them all. How May I Serve. I have a pen name Karen Mathews. You can go to http://www.howmayiserve.net or http://www.monicabennett.net to find out about all the messy details. And girl is it juicy!!!!
Boy, I was a hot mess. But you know what I did? I turned my mess into a message! That’s rights, I turned it around, upside down, inside out, side ways and twisted it so much, that’s you won’t recognize me from who I am now. How about you? Are their some messes you want to clean up? Before you do, be honest with yourself, become aware of them and forgive yourself. Then find the support you need to turn your mess into a message. You just might inspire someone else to find the strength and confidence to know their not a f*ck up. When you know better you do better. At the time I knew nothing!!! I knew jack sh*t! I was an insecure, lost, frightened young girl. But I needed to smell the coffee or (I like to smell roses more) really quickly because I was cruising for a bruising.
So if you’re reading this and you’ve gotten yourself in some messes, this might be the sign you were looking for to get out of shame, blame and all those emotions that keep you in the dark. It’s okay. The more you bring light to your wounds the more you can heal.
