Some people need a wake up call to wake up! Why is it that so many people wait for a crisis to occur before they finally wake up? What is it about having to hit rock bottom to finally make a change? No one really likes to change but it’s the only really constant in life.
Procrastination only means that you do not respect and like yourself enough to do the things that will give you a life of a higher value. You might be afraid of the fear of failure, which is really the fear of being criticized, so you don’t begin and put it off. Day after day, you want to start but that fear subconsciously keeps you paralyzed. You make up all kinds of excuses why you can’t. Then before you know it, years go by and boom, some sort of crisis hits. It could be a financial, health, or relationship catastrophe.
At first the universe gives you a little nodge letting you know to start taking some action. Then, if you ignore it, you might get a louder alarm trying to wake you up. But if you continue to hit the snooze button, a crisis will interrupt your life. So, why wait? Action conquers fear. Don’t delay, start today! Need support? It’s advisable to hire a coach. who is your accountability partner and protagonist to guide you on your journey. I have a 30 day program that will jump start your life! Now is your time!

As soon as you pursue a dream, your life wakes up and everything has meaning.
Lately, I’ve been honing my skills into really shaping the life I want. I’ve been on a quest to step into a totally different reality. To do this I have to do what the mystics called, shape shifting. That is dreaming yourself into a state of being. So, of course the first question you have to ask yourself is who do you want to be, what will you be doing and why?
This is an ancient belief in all cultures. It is what the movie The Transformers are all about. But, before you can do something, you have to become that someone. If you want a new personal reality, you have to shift your personality. The more I talk to people the more transformation they want to make in their lives but they feel stuck, confused, stressed, full of anxiety or depressed. You will not be able to shape shift if your emotional state is in turmoil.
You must release any tension in your mind/body/spirit to allow for the freedom to travel the realms of different dimensions. To let yourself go and explore what is possible. Imagine the life you want. Set yourself free and morph into whatever shape comes through you. Kids do this naturally when they feel safe enough to play. How about you? Are you ready to shape shift? Do you need guidance to release the tension for you to get started? I’m here to support you as you learn how to mold into a whole new YOU!

The quieter you become the more you are able to hear.
Last Friday, I took the train into New York to meet up with some friends and visit the Met. They are celebrating by having an exhibit of the fiftieth anniversary of Apollo 11 moon landing that took place on July 20,1969. It was fascinating and I highly recommend seeing it. But it got me thinking, of how absolutely quiet it must be in space. and the absence of any sound.
To get to the museum, I walked a few blocks and then took the subway there. The noise level on the streets was off the charts! Between the sirens, trucks and cars beeping there horns, and the stimulus from other things was over whelming. Thank God, I am able to stay grounded and be aware of the noise without getting sucked into all, but, I gotta say that I couldn’t wait to get out of the city. It can rattle your nervous system to a point were you just become numb and addicted to it all.
We are not meant to live like this. It isn’t healthy. Yes, you can learn to adjust to all the noise but you will never get in touch with your authentic self if you aren’t taking the time to be in nature. Going to the moon has shown mankind how vital and precious our beautiful blue planet really is. Connect to Mother Earth, embrace all the wonders and the natural resources that she has to offer. And most importantly, listen to the silence.

Two weeks ago, I was taking a flight back from Atlanta to Kennedy Airport. The flight was delayed do to thunderstorms so I arrived in New York after midnight. Because of this the next train taking me to my home town was over an hour wait. I was grumbling and cursing that it was late, I was tired and wanted to get home. Then I said to myself, STOP IT! There’s nothing you can do so you must be here for a reason.
After taking the air-train to Jamaica station, I was pacing back and forth when I noticed a young Asian girl by herself with lots of luggage crying and her head down into her cell phone. I asked her if there was something wrong and if I could help in some way. She nodded her head no. I left her alone but couldn’t let it go, so I was insistent to find out if she needed help. She finally opened up and said she came here alone from China and had nowhere to stay for the night. Her airbnd wasn’t available until tomorrow morning and she didn’t know what to do. At this point an officer on duty came by too. I told him what her dilemma was and we both agreed that she should just stay at the Jamaica terminal until the morning. That it is safer than venturing out in the middle of the night.
So she agreed. But she was still sobbing. Finally she trusted me enough to share that she didn’t know she could take an air-train to Jamaica, so she took a gypsy cab which charged her a $100.00 then quickly switched the $100 dollar bill for a $1 dollar bill and said she owned him another $100.00 (Not Kind!) OMG, that got my goat! I felt so sorry for her that she got ripped off of $200.00. Well, I gave her my business card and told her that if she needed anything at all, to please reach out.
She contacted me the next day and thanked me profusely! She said it made all the difference. Then she texted me right before she was leaving to let me know I gave her so much courage!. Just be kind. It changes everything! What goes around comes around. Be kind, Be nice! The more people can do this the better world you will see and experience.

Let’s face it, life can be darn hard at times. It can knock you down, turn you inside out and twist you around. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t achieved greatness without going through some sort of adversity.
The difference between those that succeeded and those that didn’t is the faith and courage to get back up and go at it again. Also, having someone in your corner. someone who sees your goodness and sees something that you can’t or don’t believe in yet. There were times that I wanted to give up on myself but something inside me kept me going. You can call it source energy, God, spirit, consciousness or infinite intelligence, but it’s real and it always available to tap into.
If you’re going through some tough times, you can grow through it. To reach mastery in anything, or to overcome anything ask your heart for guidance and then give it your all. Grow through it! Nothing happens by accident. Learn from adversity and grow. You’ll amaze yourself who you can become!
