Come Over to the Wild Side

“Hard Times Requires Furious Dancing”

Alice Walker

Some people have decided to buckle up for safety because life has become bumpy. The ride has been quite wild the last eight or more months. So much uncertainty. So much unpredictability. I can certainly understand people wanting to hold tight, protect and keep safe from a world that seems to be so out of control. That is not what my gut is telling me. My intuition is calling me to let lose and let my wild side out. To dance furiously and unleash my passion. Sometimes I want to scream out loud, to laugh wildly, to love passionately and play childishly.

My body longs for movement. My soul cries out for freedom. My spirit is searching for peace. All around me I see people wanting to hold on to security. To look for the familiar. But we must dance furiously until we create a new pattern. A new dance. Let go……..

Allow yourself to embrace the uncertainty with faith and courage. Take a trip of your mind and explore all the places that have kept you imprisoned in your own beliefs. The secret things that you keep tucked away. Even you think you can fool yourself. Loss yourself to yourself. That is where you will find yourself. The hippies of yesterday had it right. Make love not war. My hippy heart wants to move forward with creating and exploring new possibilities with the wisdom of the ancient ancestors of the past. Let’s dance wildly and furiously. Let’s get into a frenzy to rearrange, derange, and interchange the addictive patterns that have our culture crippled and trapped in conformity. The way out is the way in.

Get Ready to Rumble

October 6, 2020

It’s time for us to join the line of the madmen, all chained together.

Time to be totally free and estranged….

To set fire to structures and run out in the street.

Time to ferment. How else can we leave the world-vat and go to the lip?

We must die to become true human beings.

Rumi

America has lost another great icon, Ruth Bader Ginsburg aka the notorious RBG!

Ruth Bader Ginsburg devoted her life to justice, values, ethics, morality, truth, and honor. She fought tirelessly for positive change and to create a system that is fair for all people. She chose her words wisely, knowing that what you say, how you say it, and when you say it can shift the outcome of a debate. RBG was a small woman that played in a big man’s world and conquered it. She was fearless. She was determined. She was courageous. She was compassionate and intelligent. How she governed her life and her work gave young girls and women a roadmap to follow. Her legacy will live on as an example of what anyone could accomplish if they led with their heart and use their minds for the ultimate good.

Our world is changing ever so rapidly and what is needed more than ever is the understanding that we are all connected. Whether you are running a corporation, a business, or a household, without treating each other with respect and valuing others, growth and success will never long endure. Money has two (2) purposes, to make you more comfortable and to serve others. If there is any other motive for its attainment, such as power or fame, then corruption will slowly infiltrate the mind and eventually destroy morals and values.

The world is waking up to a new paradigm. Women and men who stand up for each other, who are willing to fight for justice and equal rights for all. RBG was such a woman. She never raised her voice. She spoke with a steady, composed, and calm voice to make herself be heard. She was a force to be reckoned with. No wealth or position will long endure without truth and justice. Wisdom comes with experience. Experience comes from applied knowledge, and applied knowledge comes from study. From the words of the notorious RBG, “Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time.” RIP
