Recently, I have been faced with a trial. One that required making a decision that wasn’t easy to make. It caused someone to be very disappointed, however I knew that it was for my highest good. It was a trial for me. I have been faced with many trials and tribulations in my life, and they have shaped me into the person I am today. A strong, confident, and faithful woman. How about you? Is your life smooth sailing or are you faced with trials and tribulations? In order to grow and become strong you must withstand the storms of life. So turn your mess into a message, a test into a testimony, a trial into a triumph and a victim into a victory!
“We are not going to deal with the violence in our communities, our homes and our nations, until we learn to deal with the basic ethic of how we resolve our disputes and to place an emphasis on peace in the way we relate to one another.” Marian Wright Edelman
Peace begins within our own mind, body and spirit. We are really all one, and, all connected. We live on one planet, our earth. Although it may appear that the world is out of balance, and in turmoil, there is an incredible influx of light and love being illuminated within us. All you need to do is open your heart to receive it. Now is the time to understand that we can resolve our differences, and unite again as one. Let us all pray for Peace!
Consciousness refers to your individual awareness of your unique thoughts, memories, feelings, sensations and environment. Your conscious experiences are constantly shifting and changing. For example, in one moment you may be focused on reading this article. Your consciousness may then shift to the memory of a conversation you had earlier with a co-worker. Next, you might notice how uncomfortable your chair is or maybe you are mentally planning dinner. This ever-shifting stream of thoughts can change dramatically from one moment to the next, but your experience of it seems smooth and effortless.
There are different levels of consciousness depending on your level of awareness. There are seven levels of awareness that will bring your consciousness to a heighten state of being.
More than any other time in the history of man is it vital to awaken to higher states of consciousness and be aware of our connection to our earth and each other. If we want to save our world, we must become conscious of our natural world and protect it. We can all make a difference. So lets start by opening our eyes to this magnificent planet and acknowledging her.
Do you ever hear the call of the wild inside of you? You know that childlike spirit that is trapped inside of you wanting to bust out. So many of us, live our lives in routines. We have been conditioned to believe that that, is all there is. Go to work, come home, have a bit to eat, watch some TV and then go to bed. Then, to do the same thing tomorrow and then again the next and next and next day until we retire. I say, get in touch with your wild side. Break lose of the pattern, do something totally different. Today is earth day. Go out and do an earth dance for our beautiful, giving, nurturing, and forgiving planet. Our home. Go out and get in touch with the wilderness inside of you and outside. Howl to the winds, and let her know that you care. Find that wild beast within and roar load. The vibration will echo into the core of our planet and into the space beyond.
More Snow is on the way. It has been a snowy and bitter cold winter for most of the north east of the United States. Here in the New York, where I reside people have had enough of winter. When I walk my dog, I engage in conversation with people who proclaim that they are done with snow, and the cold. Although I prefer the summer and warm weather, I find myself accepting the harsh conditions and realizing that there is no use in complaining about it. By gripping and avoiding what is, you are pushing away the possibilities of the good. There is something to be grateful for in everything. The snow is providing much due moisture for the flowers and trees that were parched this past summer. It is killing off the eggs of gypsy moths and other invasive insects. It is giving me an opportunity to focus on my writing and studies. By accepting what is, we are staying in the present moment, and that is where our power is. By avoiding and pushing it away, we are giving our power away, and that is where our problems begin. So, stop complaining about the snow and cold and think about the miracles that are right underneath. Start shoveling and uncover them.
Do your actions speak louder than your words? Are you communicating something through your words, but saying something different through your actions and body language? People will pick up your vibes through your actions more than your words. You are broadcasting who you are all the time. If your words and body language are not congruent, people will not hear what you are saying. You can tell so much about someone through their body language. It tells us the truth about yourself. You can not hide the real you. Keep your words and actions in sync to attract exactly what you desire. Take action that matches your words. Not only will you feel better, you will look better too. There will be a calmness about you that people will pick up on, and be able to hear you loud and clear!
We are all connected. We are made of stardust. Right down to the tinniest quantum particle that creates matter, is all a symphony. It is all beautifully orchestrated into this dance of life. All we need to do is become aware of this web of connectedness. To become the master of our thoughts, feelings and actions to create peace, express love and share our wisdom.
All the challenges we face in the world can be solved by a shift in consciousness.
Open your selves up to realize that we are all connected to each other, to nature the cosmos, and God.
