Here we are. Another year around the sun. I know for me the time has seemed to go super fast. It is like a blink of an eye. If you aren’t conscious of where, how and with whom you choose to spend our time, it will drift by without your full attention. That is why it is so important to intentionally create what it is you want in our life.
This is a great time to write down what you want to create for the next year. Why not write down 100 aspirations? That may seem like a lot, but once your creative juices start to flow, you will be surprised as to how many more things you can think of that you want to be, do or have. It is a great exercise to stay focused on the positive too!
So, find a nice quite spot where you have no distractions, get some paper, pencils, colored pencils or whatever you feel that will stir up your imagination and design your future.
If you want 2019 to be different for you, than you must do something different. Set your mind free, and explore the infinite possibilities that are just waiting for you. Now is your time, but only if you take the time to make it yours!

This lesson was one of the most difficult for me and I believe most others as well to learn. The fear of criticism is one of the greatest fears. That is why people would rather die than speak on stage. I used to be petrified to speak in public. My voice would crackle and my body would shake from fear. However now I absolutely love it! By facing your fear, it will loss its hold on you. If people criticize you for doing something that isn’t to their liking, it’s their issues, not yours. They owe it, not you!
Be true to you and give no attention to the people how put you down. Give your best, be your best and let the rest fall away. Own your power!!!

There are so many things that can pull me away from focusing on the goals I desire to achieve. Everyday I wake up and there they are, distractions! If I don’t stay vigilant and keep my mind on what I want, that eye candy can lead me a stray. Weather it is Facebook, some interesting email, a phone call, or anything else that is competing for my attention, I need to stay focused on the task at hand. I think the world is suffering from attention deficit disorder. Distractions are everywhere! They are competing and filling our minds with unnecessary trivia. Keeping focused is a mental muscle that needs to be developed if we want to see the results that we desire. Desire means to give birth to. So if you desire to birth an idea, you must stay focused. Keep your thoughts directed on your vision every day. Give your attention, intention and release any tension, and before you know it, you will see your vision manifest into the physical. A laser beam is the extreme focus of light that can cut through steel. Think about what you can accomplish with laser beam thoughts!

Do you ever feel like giving up? Does it feel like things are just too hard and your not getting the results you want? You might have had set backs, everyone does. I know I have had my fair share of them. However, you must stick with it, if you want to actualize your vision. Keep trying another approach until you succeed. If there is something you truly desire, keep going until it forms into a habit that you just have to do. I know so many people who say they want to shed pounds and get healthy, or start a business, write a book, or be in a loving relationship. They are all motivated at first and begin taking some sort of action toward it, but their motivation soon sizzles. They loose interest and then become discouraged. Stick with it! Never give up! It might appear like your not getting anywhere, however if you are putting your attention, intention, releasing all tension, and taking action toward your desire, then there is movement toward the desired outcome. Never give and stick with it.

Did you know, that the way you do one thing is the way you do everything. How do you wash dishes, or fold laundry? Or what are your daily habits? Do you eat healthy foods and take care of your body? Do you take time to read and nourish your mind? Or do you rush through your life, not paying much attention to any small act? It’s really the small things that add up to the bigger ones. Are you even conscious of your breath? By taking the time and consciously becoming aware of the seemingly little things in your life, everything will improve. The way you do one thing is the way you do everything. Every act, thought, and feeling, that you have effects your being. They may appear, subtle, minute, and not important, however, they become apart of your makeup. Your character is influenced by the accumulation of all the small things. The way you do one thing is the way you do everything. So examine your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Become the observer of your own life. The next time you wash dishes, or make your bed, or cook a meal, consciously become aware of the process and add a dash of love to any and everything you do. You will be amazed at what a difference it will make in your life. Its the little things, add up to the bigger ones. Everything you do matters!

Have you ever felt disappointed? Maybe you were expecting something to be different from how it actually showed up for you? I know that in my life, I have learned that disappointment is only something that was not meant to be. I have turned disappointment into knowing that something better is waiting for me.
Last week, I had a free ticket to a conference I really wanted to attend. However, there were hundreds of other people who also wanted to attend this conference. There was no guarantee that I would get a seat. After waiting for 1/2 an hour on a mile long line, I decided to head home. I could have felt disappointed but I knew that other things were pressing that needed my attention. So I was grateful for the ability to choose a different attitude. So next time, when the feeling of disappointment gushes into your being, take a deep breath in the knowing that you are being prepared for something better. There is an appointment that is waiting for you when you let go of the disappointment!
