Courage, defined by the dictionary, means; 1- The state or quality of mind or spirit that enables one to face danger and overcome fear. 2- Heart; mind, disposition. Heart, as the seat of feeling . I love how the definition describes it as really about coming from the heart.
Courage is not about ego, it’s about feeling your fear and taking that leap of faith anyway. I know in my life, I am faced with challenging situations many times. If I quite my mind, ask God for help, then do the thing that I think I can not do, I am able to gracefully confront my fear and overcome the challenge. I become courageous. Every time I am able to take that step forward, a gain more and confidence in myself, and know that all will be provided for. It is an act of love, and love is all there really is. So, the next time your confronted with a difficult challenge, and aren’t sure which way to turn, you can navigate uncertainty with faith and courage. Trust in The infinite intelligence that is surrounding you always, and allow your heart to open to the answers. Act with courage, and you will always come from love.

I don’t know about you, but sometimes my life seems more challenging then other times.. Right now I am going through some major life decisions and challenges. It can appear difficult and stressful, if I didn’t have the tools, to know how to navigate, through these obstacles. When life seems to throw me some curve balls, I take extra good care of myself to stay connected to my higher self. I meditate, dance more, take long walks, eat well, keep my thoughts focused on the outcome I desire to happen, read inspirational books, journal, connect with empowering friends, and breath! I know that during these times of great difficulties, is when I grow the most, so I really stay clear and focused on the desired outcome. If you stay true to yourself and do the work, you too can overcome any challenge. Stay with it, have faith, and know that greater and better things lies ahead. Where ever there is a great challenge there must be a great solution. That is the law of polarities. So don’t worry, worry is fear, stay in faith, faith is love, and you will discover your strength and confidence in any challenge.

I don’t know about you but this time of year always seems like I have more to do than usually. Many people become overwhelmed with the to do list, besides juggling day-to-day activities. The extra pressure of commercializing and the frenzy of trying to do it all can send you over the edge. So how do you stay calm under the pressure? I find that a daily practice of meditation, dance, and healthy food choices will keep me grounded and connected to Infinite Intelligence. So many people are confronted with health challenges, financial issues, and relationship difficulties, that anything else will create a feeling of anxiety. So STOP! You do not need to feed the system, feed your soul! Saying calm under the pressure takes practice. Turn off the telivision, turn on good music. Disconnect the artificial lights and connect to your inner light. You do not need the Christmas tree, the lastest gadget, or junk underneath it, to remind you of this wonderful time of year. The filling of joy, giving, and peace will radiate out of you when you stay calm under the pressure. The sharks may be swimming all around you but you are one with the universe.

Why do so many people settle for less than what they really want? Life has always presented challenges and hurdles that can hold us back. We stay in our comfort zone. If you read the news or watch it on TV, you hear all the reasons why you should stay in your comfort zone. We have the Ebola virus, terrorism all around the world, the economy is in trouble, and the list goes on and on. We live in a bubble, wanting security from the madness. I say, get out of your own way and begin to do different things. Fear, has a way of crippling you into staying frozen. I have realized that a life worth living is one that I get to step out of my own way, get out of my comfort zone, and give openly. Experiment and experience new things. That’s what being alive means! So LIVE!!!
