Can you believe it’s December of 2019? Where has the time gone? As we complete yet another year on the calendar, what have you done this past year that makes you feel good that you committed to? Have you kept your commitment and promise to yourself on accomplishing your desires, goals and aspirations?
If you haven’t, what do you think is holding you back? What is it that gets you so pumped up and excited about starting something and then that drive slowly vanishes? I know for myself, that when I’ve planned on eating healthier, getting in better shape or developing my business goals, and I overdo it, I slowly start to make excuses to myself why today isn’t a good day to continue. Then little by little, I’m right back where I started, and nothing improves. Now I know that to get lasting results, I first must make a commitment and a promise to myself that I am going to follow through on what I truly desire. Second, I do not overwhelm myself with an all or nothing mentality. I have learned the Kaizen Principle. Kai=Change
Zen=Good. It means to become good through change. This is a Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement. It is a series of small incremental and daily routines done over long periods of time that will result in dramatic and lasting improvements. Wow, this has made such remarkable improvements in every aspect of my life! This was something I could commit too. With small incremental improvements, it’s like compounded interest. You get better and better at something over time. What do you want to change and commit to in the New Year? What ever it is you want to improve and change, you can make it happen. If you commit to taking little steps every day, where you will be at the end of 2020 will amaze yourself!

“The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward.”
What does it take to make a decision and stick by it? What brings you to that point that says enough, I’ve got to make a change? Usually it’s pain. That gnawing feeling that nags and pulls on your heart strings to let you know somethings got to give. The more you try to ignore it, the more it comes back with a vengeance. Making a decision to change is the first step. Being determined and committed to move in the direction of the change will take perseverance. You must be able to visualize what it is you want and that has to out way your fears of not changing.
Making no decision is worse than making a wrong decision. Clarity comes from engagement. The more you move in the direction of your dreams the more the universe assists you towards your dreams. Facing your fears takes courage. Everyday we are faced with decisions. Each one can led to a different path. That is why having a purpose is key. Ask yourself, is this decision going to move me closer or further away from my dream?
If you get an answer from your heart that says yes, go for it, than take the action, even if it scares you. Everyday move a little closer toward what it is you want. Make that decision and stick by it. It will be the best decision of your life!

Our bodies are actually an electromagnetic broadcasting station. That is, our thoughts are the electric signals that we send out into the universe and the magnetic resonance is the feedback signal that is returned to us. So if your thoughts are muffled,fearful, or any emotion (energy in motion) that is sending out waves of negativity, that is what you are attracting back to you. If you are living in joy, happiness,and peace that is what is returning to you. If your confused, you will be resonating static. Just like a radio or television station that does not have a clear picture or sound. So how do you create positive and lasting change? First you must understand the difference between the mind and the brain. The brain is an organ of the body. It is the switching station where thought is processed. The mind is activity, that is expressed through out your body. You must begin to fire new thoughts that lead to new choices. New choices lead to new behaviors, and new behaviors lead to new experiences, and new experiences lead to new emotions.
Ask yourself,does the outside world control you? To change you need to be greater that your environment. You must create a vision in your mind before it can manifest as your reality.
You see everything is created twice, once in the mind and then into the physical. So if you want to create lasting positive change in your life, take a journey inside your brain and rewire to fire new thoughts. Do this over and over and over again, until you’ve created the lasting positive change you are seeking. You are the creator of your life!

I find life so amazing! You never know who or what will come into your life to change it forever. I believe that people are always seeking and searching for more of who they really are. That we are always looking to improve our lives whether we are consciously aware of it or not. All life is about expansion and fuller expression. If you look at nature, and observe how a leaf, or flower, or even a blade of grass grows, it is always reaching out of itself. Growing beyond what was there before. The same is true for people. We desire more and change from who we were yesterday. If we stay open to the possibilities that are always present, you never know what or who will change your life. Someone will come in at the exact moment you needed some help, or an inspirational book that reveals some message,will seemingly drop off the book shelf. A clue, a sign, a message, will appear to guide your life. It can change the course of your life forever. From that point on, you will never be the same. There are no coincidences. I believe that there are angels helping us along our path of life, and when we remain peaceful, and open, they will reveal the answers that we are seeking. You just never know!

We are living in a time of massive change that is quite unsettling for many people. If you are not equip with the tools to navigate these changes, you will be pulled under and expect things to settle down and go back to normal. However, there is no normal anymore, nor will there ever be a normal again. The new normal is constant change. We need to learn from the past, live in the now, and prepare for the future. That is, the new normal. Through the art of meditation, spiritual practice, cooperation, and creating new ideas for a sustainable future we can create a world that is collaborating for the good of all. We are living in the age of consciousness and waking up to the manifest, beautiful souls that we are.
However we can not continue to live life as usual. These are times of sacred activism and rethinking how we can assist others. This is the new normal. Together we can build a beautiful, sustainable brave new world.
