Fast and Furious

April 3, 2019

If you want to go fast -go alone. If you want to go far-go together.

African Proverb

We seem to have a culture today based on “it’s all about me”. What’s in it for me! But that is not how we are going to get out of the mess that we created over millions of years of evolution. Lets face it, the world is in chaos! Going it alone is a recipe for more disaster.

You might go fast and furious but eventually you are just going to burn out and  fall flat on your face.  The only way we are going to evolve is to work together. To cooperate and to co-create. This is a time in history were we need to join hands and help each other. To lift each other up and come together, rather than tear each other down and compete. That old mind-set is what  got us in to this mess from the beginning. We lost our way, and we are afraid to ask for directions.

If we begin to work and play together we can reach  highest you never even dreamed of alone. There is no I in team. This is a collective process. Where two or more are gathered anything is possible. Are you in?

Are Your Ducks in a Row?

October 4, 2016

ducks-in-a-rowI was told growing up that before I start anything new that I should have all my ducks in a row before I venture out to acquire it. Well, I know those people who told me that meant well but they were dead wrong! Just start where you are. Yes, you do need to have a clear picture of what you want, however you don’t have to know how you are going to get it. If you start worrying that everything isn’t lined up exactly, you are going to bog yourself down with lots of worry and get hung up on how you are going to manifest what it is you want.

You really don’t have to get everything neatly organized and all the risks eliminated before you make your move. You must be willing to tolerate some confusion, and even some chaos for awhile, while aiming for your outcome. From disorder, order is created.

This is part of the creative process. You create as you go. It’s like painting. You have the vision of the picture you want to paint, and you are moving the brush, stroke by stroke as you go.

The key is to not get in your own way!  Let go of the outcome!!!

Need some help in forming your vision, creating the picture or letting go? Call me today!

Don’t wait, create!!

Organized Chaos

May 13, 2014

organized chaosI am living in organized chaos. I recently moved into a new home that is still being renovated. Actually it isn’t a new home, it is a hundred and one year old home. Lots of work needed to be done to get it up to date. We basically gutted the home to redo the electrical, plumbing, heating and other such infrastructure work.It was organized chaos. Now, I am living out of boxes until I can get more organized. Every day progress is being made to bring the house to completion. Chaos, always precedes order. Look at nature, it might look chaotic if you walk through a forest. However, if you look closely it is in perfect divine order.Sometimes it seems like our life becomes unmanageable but if you center yourself and stay calm, order will come. A knitted sweater is a chaotic mess on one side and the other side  is in a beautiful pattern. So get messy! As long as you stay focused on what it is your desire, chaos will be there along side the organization. It is always a journey from chaos to organization. Onward and upward!!
