Less Is More

August 10, 2017

Most of us are being bombarded with way too much information. I get about 200 e-mails a day. I make at least 10 phone calls a day and receive 10 or more daily. Then there is the information coming to me from many other sources as well. I avoid watching the news, however I do read articles in the NY Times and other sources that interest me.  I am always studying and learning something new ever day.Taking a webinar or going to a class. My mind can go into overload if I do not sift through what’s relevant and valuable to me.

Information is useless until all that data is processed down, and made simple. Until I can take it and apply it as knowledge and then reduces to further into wisdom, it has no relevance in my life.

Knowledge is the the accumulation of facts and date that you have learned about or experienced.

Wisdom is the ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting.

Knowledge is gained through learning facts.

Wisdom comes from observing experiences and learning from them in a way that affects future decisions and behaviors.

Knowledge is measuring that a desert path is 3.6 miles long.

Wisdom is bringing enough water for the duration of that hike.

Knowledge allows for change in response to new information or analyzes.

Wisdom is time less.

Wisdom is “Who we are” vs. “What we do.”

Wisdom governs choices, is the pursuit of knowledge, better communication and relationships.

I believe for the human race to survive and thrive we must surpass the information age and learn to be wise, which has no age, it is time less.

Here is a short video to help your quest for wisdom.

If you are looking for help sifting through all the overload of  information in your head and gaining clearly, I’m a phone call away.

Leave a Great First Impression

April 12, 2016

observationI feel our eyes can be both a blessing and a curse. We all want to leave a great first impression with others when we are going on a job interview, going on a first date or any encounter that will influence our presence. How well we look, speak and act can either leave people thinking highly of us or not. However, sometimes our eyes can deceive us. We can be quick to judge and see only what we perceive as faults in someones appearance.

Observations leaves room for looking deeper and beyond the outward appearance.   We are already closing ourselves off to someone when we judge how they look. If we were visual impaired, what would be the first impression then? Would we listen with keen ears to hear their qualifications and  how well they are a match with your company?  Would  you be more aware of how you feel around their presence? What would be the guiding light to help determine if someone is leaving a great first impression? The gift of sight is a marvelous blessing, however we must use this gift wisely and not judge someone strictly on outward appearances. Their energy, habits, values and actions need to speak louder than their looks. Leaving a great first impression is important but do not overlook the person hiding under the mask. Observation is strength and judgement is weakness. Do not let your eyes deceive you.

Clarity is the first step in obtaining anything that you desire. However, if you don’t have the clarity, you need to navigate uncertainty with courage and faith first. You are either moving forward with courage and faith, or falling behind in fear. There is no such thing as being stagnant. We live in an ocean of motion. When you trust enough to move forward and take an action step, your higher power will always be there to guide you. There is no attraction without the action. Clarity will soon follow. Once you gain the clarity, your vision will become focused and your belief will get stronger and stronger. You will see it when you believe it. You faith and courage to believe anything is possible must be firmly implanted in your being to manifest your desires. As Michelangelo wrote, “I saw an angel in the stone, and carved to set it free.” So take the first step, navigate uncertainty with faith and courage, and you too will be setting free your angel to help you gain clarity, vision, and belief in yourself!!!

Clarity

February 10, 2015

Do you know what you want? Do you know your purpose? If not, there will be some confusion in your mind that will resonate in your feelings, which will bring you undesirable results. You must be clear as to what you desire before you can see desirable results. When you have clarity, the universe will conspire and assist you in every way to match your desire. I know this is true in my life. When I have clarity as to what I want, I begin to see signs all around me helping me to fulfill that vision. I wanted to write a book, and when I was clear with this vision, all things came into focus as to how to accomplish it. Now it is published and the title is How May I Serve. I have a pen name; (Karen Mathews) Here is a short video about it.

This is the very first step to manifesting anything you truly want. So spend some time getting clear. Really think about what it is you want. This is probably the greatest work you can do for yourself. Look inside your heart and ask for guidance. Trust that the universe, is always listening. Believe that you can be, do, or have want you want, and take action, when you get clear. Soon it will become a reality. It will feel so good when you have that clarity!

Here’s to manifesting your dreams!clarity
