Give It Up

April 26, 2018

We must be willing to get rid of the life we’ve planned, so as to have the life that is waiting.      Joseph Campbell

When a crisis hits you like loss of some kind, an accident or illness, you can either rise above or sink into the abyss. The choice is yours. There have been a few times in my life where I was at the edge of despair. We all go through times that can rattle us to the core of our being.  We plan our life, set goals and work hard to accomplish them and boom, something happens that takes you in a completely different direction.

For awhile we feel sorry for ourselves and wonder why this is happening. However if you have a strong inner drive with purpose and passion, you will soon see the silver lining in that seemingly misfortune. ” Every adversity, every failure, every heartbreak, carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit.”  Napoleon Hill

With guidance, perseverance, and faith you will rise above. Stay true to being YOU!

You must jump  into the unknown, for it is there that the answers to your search will reveal themselves.

To find out how you can discover your best life, call for a free consultation and begin living with passion and purpose!

Roles Before Souls

April 12, 2018

Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams: who looks inside, awakes.                                                                                                                                          Carl Jung

When was the last time you felt young, free and really alive? You know that child like feeling of endless energy and boundless enthusiasm. What happens to our joy and playful spirit as we age? When we are kids our souls are full of innocence. We were able to connect to our inner light and allow it shine until it got dulled, darkened and dampened by the pressures of life. Our roles got in the way and we forgot that we are souls.

The culture we live in supports our addiction to the outside world and does not promote soul searching. I know that I started looking inward when there was a crisis in my life. I realized that nothing in this world would fill the hole I had in my soul. The only way was inward. There I discovered, uncovered and recovered my connection to spirit and embraced the truth of who I am, a beautiful soul! All addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression and dis-ease is a disconnect from your soul. To reclaim it, takes time, commitment and a daily practice to spiritual principles.

Isn’t it time you reconnect to your soul?  Allow me to shine some light on your path.

Question Everything!

October 5, 2017

What does it take to navigate these times of uncertainty? Being curious.  Children always ask  questions? Being curious is the insatiable desire to know more.

In a world that is full of constant change, just keeping up with the change can be a full time job.

Rapid technological advances requires us to incorporate new ways of thinking and doing. Everything is becoming more and more automated. Kiosk’s in airports to  self checkouts at supermarkets, and self driving cars and artificial intelligence are right around the corner.

Corporations are still downsizing and fast food chains are still supersizing. It seems like everything has gone upside down.

With all these changes, people are experiencing anxiety, fear losing their jobs, and fear of becoming irrelevant.

Looking beyond potential threats and toward potential opportunities are where the answers lie.

Being curious is one of the key elements that will keep your mind focused on possibilities rather than the threats.

Curiosity is the inquiring mind. It is asking how things can be done differently. It is staying open to new ideas and learning new things. It is a childlike innocence that wants to discover, explore, play and feel forever young..

Are you yearning for this experience? Let’s explore together. I have lots of questions for you that will spark your creative juices!

Get Lost!

September 28, 2017

“Life should be a glorious adventure or nothing at all.” Helen Keller

Recently I found myself getting lost upstate will hiking alone in the woods. I lost my sense of direction and wasn’t sure were I was and how I was going to find my way back out. I didn’t have my handy dandy cell phone with the navigation to help me. I was lost! After gaining my composure I sat down to try to orient myself. So many questions about my life came up for me. After about three hours, other hikers came walking by. They lead the way out.

getting lostAfter I got back to my camp site, I thought about how I found myself by getting lost. I realized that not knowing can be a great way to discover hidden emotions, strengths and fears that would have never come up if I didn’t get lost.  After calming my mind, I realized so many things about who I am and how I respond to circumstances that I never would have known about myself if I didn’t get lost.

My younger daughter, just traveled alone cross country in your tiny home and had the most glorious adventure. Some of the pictures from the places she explored where absolutely incredible! Ever day was a new discovery. A journey into the unknown. You can follow her adventures on Instagram (ramblinanne).

Live Your Passion

May 6, 2015

What are you passionate about? Do you have a passion? If not I suggest you begin at once to discover it. I am passionate about many things. I love life and the intricate things that make up our world. Nature is one of my big passions. Right now, as the trees, flowers, and shrubs are blooming, as everything is coming to life after a long cold winter, I find such passion in observing nature unfold. Passion is the oxygen to the soul. When you find something you love to do, give it your all. Passion is a powerful emotion that will keep you going even when things seem daunting. Passion keeps you connected to your desires. Passion ignites imagination, it spurs excitement to keep you moving in the direction of your dreams. Without passion live is dull, depressing, and uninteresting. Life is full of passion. Just look around, you can see passion everywhere. The visible and invisible world is beaming with it. All you need to do is connect with its energy. Just look at your body. Take time to realize the amazing intricacies that make it up. Once you are passionate about life it will reflect in everything you do and who you are. Life will get better and better in every way. So drink in the elixir of life, passionpassion

Don’t Prove Yourself, Improve Yourself

March 17, 2015

Sometimes I hear people say they are bored. I know I have heard children say this, and I believe they need guidance, direction, and education to understand that there are many subjects they can get interested in. As parents, teachers, and guides we are here to direct them to their interests. Once they acquire the passion for learning and improving themselves, they will have no need to prove themselves. When you try to prove yourself worthy, you are missing out on improving yourself. You become outwardly directed and begin to compete against yourself. That’s what bullying is. They want to prove themselves rather that improve themselves. The secret is to improve yourself, and grow into all you can be. Everything is inside you waiting to be discovered. Your dreams, passions, gifts, and creative genius, is all inside you. When you begin to become a never, ending learner, you awaken to these miracles. All it takes is a shift in consciousness to see it this way. It is time for all of us to improve ourselves. To teach our children to live together peacefully  in this world by focusing on how we can grow, change, and improve ourselves.  improve yourself
