“It has been said, most people die at age 25 and don’t get buried until they are 65. “Wanting something is not enough. You must hunger for it.” Les Brown
What’s the risk of being alive? So many people are really afraid of being or doing something they really want to do, something is holding them back. Fear! Limiting beliefs about not being good enough, smart enough, rich enough or you fill in the blanks… The greatest tragedy is dying with your dreams still in you!
I think back to when I was a teenager and I had a desire to become a great dancer. I loved to dance and still do, however I didn’t have the confidence to pursue a career in it. I would listen to over peoples options like there are too many starving dancers and actors out there and you’ll never make a living doing this. I allowed other peoples limiting beliefs to clog my thinking. Now, besides coaching I teach empowerment dance classes! How cool is that!!! It is never to late to do, be or have what you want. Determination, persistence, faith and passion will lead the way.
Check out my interview with Jack Canfield. I Know I can be, do or have what ever I desire and so can you.
So, if you’re ready to risk being ALIVE and want to see how to make your dreams come true, let’s talk!

Yesterday as I was driving to an empowerment dance class I teach, I listened to an interview with Albert Woodfox. He just was released from living in solitary confinement for over 40 YEARS. Yes, I wrote that correctly over 40 YEARS! The question that was asked of him that resonated with me was; how did you maintain your sanity all that time? Now the question I have for you is what prison are you living in? If you are able to move about freely, drive, walk, fly, take a bus, train or any other means of travel without restrains and thinking your trapped in a cell, your right. You are in the prison cell of your mind. I can not imagine how someone could spend over four decades in solitary confinement without going totally crazy, but Albert Woodfox’s spirit was not broken. He is a testament to all of us to stay grateful for the freedom that we already have even if we feel trapped in our own minds. The cruelty and torture he endured was inhuman. The cruelty and torture we inflict on ourselves are the doings of thoughts that do not serve our spirit. Set yourself free. As Albert walked out a free man after all these years, you too can set yourself free. Albert Woodfox is a heroic man who was unjustly sentenced to endure his life in solitary confinement but showed us all that our spirit is free even in the isolated chambers of a prison. God bless…

I recently had a discussion with someone who felt that everyone is going to die anyway so why not do what you want. My philosophy on life is totally different. Yes, no one gets out alive. We are all going to die one day, however it is the quality of life that is all so important. The choices we make will create either a healthy life style or a destructive one. I chose to eat healthy, think thoughts that are empowering, meditate, be of service and laugh a lot. These choices will give me the quality of life I am seeking. Yes, I might die tomorrow however, I know I would have lived my life my way and in a healthy way. Too many people are not living, the are existing with long drawn out illnesses. How do you want to live your life? Chose wisely.

I just got home from watching the movie, Inside, Out.If you haven’t seen it, you must. It was awesome! If you want to understand how your emotions control your life, this explains it in a very fun and simple way. It is jam packed with how we deal with the events in our life. There’s the emotions of happiness, sadness, anger, fear, and disgust. The movie dwells into the mind of a young girl who’s parents decide to move from their small town to a city. She was so happy in her small town with lots of great memories. But, now she is in a new home, school, and environment that stirs up all kinds of emotions. To find her way back to happiness, she must get in touch with her sadness first. The movie also touches on core memories, imagination, the subconscious mind, abstract thought, and dreaming. As an empowerment coach, I found this movie a refreshing beginning course for anyone interested in wanted to understand themselves more, and understanding oneself is one of the most important reasons we are here for. So,do yourself a great service, have some fun, and learn how your emotions shape your life!

Life really does begin outside your comfort zone. Playing it safe will never develop character, strength, or confidence. If you want more you must stretch yourself. Becoming a public speaker is most people’s number one fear. It certainly was for me. My voice used to crackle if I had to speak in public. But now, I love it! I overcame my fear because I wanted to be an empowerment coach. I didn’t allow the fear to stop me from pursuing my desire. I urge you to go ahead and step into your uncomfortable zone. What is it that you want? Give it a try. Then do it again and again. Soon, you will have gotten comfortable with what at one time was uncomfortable. Then you will have to stretch again to reach the next level of what ever makes you uncomfortable. You see, life is always expanding and expressing. So step outside your comfort zone to develop your character, strength, and confidence. I’m sure you will be happy that you did!
