Question Everything!

October 5, 2017

What does it take to navigate these times of uncertainty? Being curious.  Children always ask  questions? Being curious is the insatiable desire to know more.

In a world that is full of constant change, just keeping up with the change can be a full time job.

Rapid technological advances requires us to incorporate new ways of thinking and doing. Everything is becoming more and more automated. Kiosk’s in airports to  self checkouts at supermarkets, and self driving cars and artificial intelligence are right around the corner.

Corporations are still downsizing and fast food chains are still supersizing. It seems like everything has gone upside down.

With all these changes, people are experiencing anxiety, fear losing their jobs, and fear of becoming irrelevant.

Looking beyond potential threats and toward potential opportunities are where the answers lie.

Being curious is one of the key elements that will keep your mind focused on possibilities rather than the threats.

Curiosity is the inquiring mind. It is asking how things can be done differently. It is staying open to new ideas and learning new things. It is a childlike innocence that wants to discover, explore, play and feel forever young..

Are you yearning for this experience? Let’s explore together. I have lots of questions for you that will spark your creative juices!

Less Is More

August 10, 2017

Most of us are being bombarded with way too much information. I get about 200 e-mails a day. I make at least 10 phone calls a day and receive 10 or more daily. Then there is the information coming to me from many other sources as well. I avoid watching the news, however I do read articles in the NY Times and other sources that interest me.  I am always studying and learning something new ever day.Taking a webinar or going to a class. My mind can go into overload if I do not sift through what’s relevant and valuable to me.

Information is useless until all that data is processed down, and made simple. Until I can take it and apply it as knowledge and then reduces to further into wisdom, it has no relevance in my life.

Knowledge is the the accumulation of facts and date that you have learned about or experienced.

Wisdom is the ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting.

Knowledge is gained through learning facts.

Wisdom comes from observing experiences and learning from them in a way that affects future decisions and behaviors.

Knowledge is measuring that a desert path is 3.6 miles long.

Wisdom is bringing enough water for the duration of that hike.

Knowledge allows for change in response to new information or analyzes.

Wisdom is time less.

Wisdom is “Who we are” vs. “What we do.”

Wisdom governs choices, is the pursuit of knowledge, better communication and relationships.

I believe for the human race to survive and thrive we must surpass the information age and learn to be wise, which has no age, it is time less.

Here is a short video to help your quest for wisdom.

If you are looking for help sifting through all the overload of  information in your head and gaining clearly, I’m a phone call away.

Are You Ready For A Trip?

October 26, 2016

Life is either a great adventure or nothing. Helen Keller

adventure

When was the last time you allowed yourself to take an adventure? Nature never places it safe! You are here to experience the magnificence of everything life has to offer. Most people get trapped in the hum-drum routine of every day life. Me included!

I was having lunch with a girlfriend today and I was telling her of an opportunity I was invited to participate on. It meant getting out of my routine for a week to fly out to Albuquerque New Mexico, and drive to Sedona Arizona to film a movie. Wow! I feel this tug to go and yet my obligations here are holding me back. My friend said go! All that stuff will be here when you get back. She just got out of the hospital with a severe case of Kidney stones in which her body became septic. She made a great point to let me know that life is short and live it to its fullness.

So, I’m going to make it happen. I love the calling of adventure and when it knocks I answer!

Are you ready to step outside your comfort zone and allow a glorious adventure in?

Need help to live your life to the fullest?  Call me today!! Don’t wait, Create!!!

Do You Feel Alive?

July 20, 2016

I love life! I am so grateful to be having the experience of being alive! Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had my fair share of heart-ache, sadness, tragedy and failures, however, I know that if I continue to work through all those challenges, that I will triumph and get stronger, wiser and more appreciative of this very precious gift called life!!

To really feel alive you have to embrace the essence of life and give it all you’ve got! I see so many people afraid to live. Their afraid of being alive, and so they are slowly dying.  Their afraid of failing, afraid of trying, afraid of giving themselves over to the pure rapture of living.

I don’t think that people are afraid of death as they are of living.

Why not allow yourself the freedom to let lose and give life your best shot! After all if you want the best, you have to give your best!!!

The best way to really feel alive is to look around you, and become aware of everything. There is consciousness in everything. Everything is alive whether it appears to be inanimate or not. Then focus on your amazing body! Wow, how precious it truly is!!! You have been giving this amazing gift of life! So go ahead and fully feel alive!!!

Need help in understanding how to live full out and feel alive?

Call Monica today and begin to live with passion and purpose!!! feeling Alive

Don’t Sink Under the Pressure

June 21, 2016

pressureYou can measure a man’s character by the choices he makes under pressure.  Winston Churchill

When everything is going smoothly in my life it is beautiful thing! I love when my day feels like a warm soft breeze on a summer day. However when the weather changes, some days can feel like a hurricane with 90 miles per hour winds. It can seem like I have a million important things to do in one day. The pressure can feel overbearing!! When I am able to stay calm under pressure, I know I have really  become the captain of my ship. But I still have moments when the seas get really rough that I forget how to navigate back to my serenity. However the time lapse is less and less. How about you? How do you react under pressure? Your true character is revealed under pressure. It can either make you or break you! Through experience, tools and techniques,  I now know how to take responsibility for my actions rather than  react hastily under turbulence conditions. So, although the conditions  might change my temperament will remain the same.

It is time to take back your Power and become the master of your life!

Do you want to know how? Call me today and learn how to navigate your life through the storms!!!

Our Intention Creates Our Reality

March 16, 2016

intentionWe are all powerful creators and when we set our intention on what we want to create we can manifest that desire. Yesterday, I was on a plane flying home from California and I had such an enjoyable conversation with the person sitting next to me. We made a real connection. My intention before boarding the plane was to sit next to someone who was open for conversation and friendly. Well, I definitely got what I asked for. It was a small intention, however if it turned out that the person was not friendly, well it would have been a whole other experience. Then again, I wanted to set another intention for my train ride home from the airport.I wanted to met a new person and share our contact information. You know what? Presto, it happened. I met a beautiful woman from Panama who was looking for help getting on the correct train and was a little afraid of asking anyone. She approached me, and soon we were talking and sharing things about our family, country and other things. We exchanged contact information too! Our intentions create our reality. What intention do you have for your day? Before getting out of bed, declare that this will be a good day and wonderful things are coming your way. Then go about your day and notice what happens. Set the intention before you do anything and marvelous things await you…

Pen to Paper

April 21, 2015

There is something magical that happens every time you take a pen to paper. A connection is made between your mind and body that can not take place the same way as when you are typing on a keyboard. You see, every letter on the keyboard is pressed the same, where as when you write long hand, every letter is unique. Pen to paper, connects you to the viseral experience. I knew this, however I never did write my blogs like this until now. I was listening to a sermon by a pastor from the Riverside Church in Manhattan this past Sunday when he spoke of this experience that happens when we take pen to paper. We get to explore a deeper level of meaning within ourselves when we write this way. We unite our whole being into the relationship with ourself, our spirit, and God. Some how it’s just not the same when we just type it out. So I’ve decided to write my blogs and stories long hand first, then type them out. Writing this now, I see how my thoughts flow so much smoother. Writing seems to move my hand effortlessly. So, I suggest for you to take pen to paper and explore the deep recesses of your mind and release what ever is stored there. There is a magical sensation of freedom that happens when you do. Start writing, pick up a pen, and begin discovering the most important person in your world, YOU!
