As I ponder, wonder, contemplate and imagine what the future holds for humanity, my thoughts drift into a simpler way of life. A day and time when people weren’t so rushed. This pandemic has put a screeching halt to our routines, and shaken many to realize that life is so fragile. How could something invisible rattle us into a state of panic and fear and have this much control over the way we live and die? If what we focus on expands, what are you focused on? Life as we know it was spinning out of control. It had to crash. Many deep down inside really wanted to get off the worry-go-round but were caught up in the momentum. If we can see what’s good about this, we can begin to shape and mold our future into something wonderful.
What if this virus is giving us a chance to reset, readjust, reevaluate, rejuvenate and re establish a new way to live? People were just going through the motions, faster and faster! Rushing is fear. Taking the rush hour train to work and back, then going to happy hour, just to do the same thing day after day. Happy hour was really numbing hour from the mundane routine of being trapped in the cog of the way society has brain washed us into believing how we need to behave. Consumerism and commercialism had us squeezed so tight, that it felt like we were in a straight jacket. Well, here is your chance to get free! To release yourself from the prison.
What will you do to imagine a new world? What do you want it to look like? How do you want it to feel? Together we can create a future that is bright, healthy, prosperous, compassionate and full of wonderful possibilities. Dream, play and envision this and collectively we can create it.

We are living in extraordinary times. The world we all thought we knew has been rearranged, turned upside down, right side out and shaken to the core. Although some would like things to just return to normal, we have to realize that there is no normal ever again. Things are forever changed.
Things weren’t working for a very long time and until this virus came along, we were busy distracting ourselves with things that took our attention away from what really mattered. Now we must come face to face with our fears, insecurities, habits, behaviors and lifestyles. There’s nowhere to hide and no where to go to avoid the feelings that will come up for you.
Trying to hold on to what was will only bring more suffering and pain. Embracing change and creating new systems that supports, encourages and empowers cooperation and compassion will emerge as we navigate through these times.
Now is the time to take extra good care of your health. To eat natural foods from the earth rather than processed foods. It is the time to pay attention to your thoughts and keep focused on what’s good. To be grateful for that we do have. Gratitude connects us to feelings that uplifting and supports our immune system. fear will weaken it.
Trust that you have the power to know that happiness is a choice, no matter what is going on. Trust that you will be calm and positive in spite of what the media is broadcasting to the public. Turn off the news and go within. This is the time to meditate, take a walk-in nature, journal, dance, paint, study or do what ever lifts your spirits. Discover you purpose and ignite it with passion.
These are the days of miracles and wonder. We’re all in this together. We are all connected.

Don’t be afraid to try something new. After all the Ark was build by amateurs and the Titanic was build by experts.
What is really holding you back from trying something new? Something you really want to be, or have or do? From my own personal experience, it was my self esteem. I didn’t feel good enough. When I finally got over this feeling of insecurity and fear, I stepped out and started doing the things I really love to do. One of the things I love to do is speak. Last week I spoke in front of about 100 people and it was awesome. Every time I get out and conquer my fear, I feel so good that I was able to do what I love.
Just like the lion in the Wizard of Oz, you got to find your courage to step out into your fear. You are going to feel the fear, however action conquers fear. Iv’e made so many blunders and mistakes when I started going out speaking, however I didn’t stop. I know that mistakes are part of growth. So whatever it is you want to be, do or have, know you can do it if you give yourself that opportunity.

This was the message from the crypto- quote I like to do every morning. This really hit home with me. When I doubt myself I question my ability to continue reaching for my goal. When I have a big goal it can be challenging. If I allow the doubt to take over it feels so heavy, which can make me feel older than I am. With doubt my desire can weaken and it pulls me down. But when I am taking positive action and feeling good, faith creates a feeling of youth and vibrancy in my body and mind.
The same is true for when I feel confident. I feel young and ageless. I can go on for hours performing a task and stay focused on my purpose. But when fear creeps its ugly head into my day, I feel tired, and just want to give up and tune out.
That’s why it is so important to keep your purpose, vision and goals in your mind at all times. Surround yourself with positive people who will lift you up and help you stay in the mind frame of faith and self-confidence.
Everyone can feel defeated at times. Life can be tough. With passion, faith, confidence and perseverance, you will have the energy, to get through those doubtful and fearful moments. Show up for yourself and be the best you can for today. Do what you can just for today and you will feel young and vibrant to follow through on your goals.

Are you feeling cowardly or courage? In the movie the Wizard of Oz, the cowardly lion was just that,faint-hearted, timid and fearful. He acted like a big shot, chasing little Toto around, but deep inside he didn’t have any courage. I find that that people who have the loudest roar usually are meek and insecure.

The cowardly lion went from begin a coward to courageous by stepping up and facing his fears. We are all faced with difficult situation at times. How we handle and confront those challenges are how we move from cowardly to courageous.
Every time we move forward with courage, we gain faith, strength, and confidence that we have the ability to overcome anything that comes our way. I know in my own life, when I was faced to go back into my comfort zone or take the leap of faith, and I faced my fear, I was always guided by spirit.
So the next time you have a choice to be cowardly or courageous, choose courageous,and just like the cowardly lion, you will feel empowered and confident.

I just got home from watching the movie, Inside, Out.If you haven’t seen it, you must. It was awesome! If you want to understand how your emotions control your life, this explains it in a very fun and simple way. It is jam packed with how we deal with the events in our life. There’s the emotions of happiness, sadness, anger, fear, and disgust. The movie dwells into the mind of a young girl who’s parents decide to move from their small town to a city. She was so happy in her small town with lots of great memories. But, now she is in a new home,school, and environment that stirs up all kinds of emotions. To find her way back to happiness, she must get in touch with her sadness first. The movie also touches on core memories, imagination, the subconscious mind, abstract thought, and dreaming. As an empowerment coach, I found this movie a refreshing beginning course for anyone interested in wanted to understand themselves more, and understanding oneself is one of the most important reasons we are here for. So,do yourself a great service, have some fun, and learn how your emotions shape your life!

Life seems to be speeding up. Everyone seems to be in such a rush. There is even a term for people communing on the trains called rush hour. It even costs more to be in this time zone. What are we rushing too? When you are in a hurry, your mind is not in an orderly state. Hurry is fear, and consequently destructive. When we calm down things move smoothly and orderly. Everything is in natural time. Observe nature and you will see how life unfolds itself orderly and naturally. You cannot rush a rose bud to bloom, or a seed to germinate. Life is for expansion and fuller expression. When you understand that life proceeds out of itself in an orderly sequence of growth, you will stop rushing. You do not have to slow down but calm down. Your mind will then be in an orderly vibration to unfold into the beautiful manifestation you have visualized for it. So let’s all get into a calm hour, pay less and receive so much more.
