Going Down the Rabbit Hole

October 9, 2019

“If you don’t know where your going, you’ll wind up some where else.”

Yogi Berra

What is it that you really want? When I was a teenager, I didn’t have a purpose or direction in life. I didn’t have a focus that kept my attention. My father got sick when I was about 14 years old and passed over when I turned 17. He lived with cancer for a few years which was a very difficult time for my family. I completely rebelled and lost sight of anything and everything that I could have wanted for myself. I had no aspirations or goals. I was just drifting.

I was in  survival mode. As time passed and our family healed from our loss, I was able to begin looking at my future with new eyes. I started focusing on what I wanted in life and applied my gifts and talents to horticulture. I opened a plant business which I truly loved. My attention on learning everything I could about plants grew and grew (and so did my plants). As I evolved so did my passion to learn about nature, health, herbs and about people. This took me to the field I am in today, coaching. I love it!

You see, when you’re not sure where you want to go, any road will take you there. When you have clarity, you can navigate a path that will bring so much joy, satisfaction and happiness into your life. Having a purpose and sticking with it, is the answer to so many of your life’s questions. So, ask yourself, what do you really want? What are you willing to devote your life too? There is something inside of you that no one else can do just like you! If you want to go down the rabbit hole, make sure it is with a purpose, otherwise any road will take you to no where.

Mind The Gap

December 28, 2017

When you are in London England and ride the tube (The British name for subway), they alert you to mind the gap, (the space between the platform and the train).

When we set a goal for ourselves there is also a gap. The space between where you are presently and where you desire to be. So the question is how do you bridge the gap? Is it as easy as stepping into it? By taking the time every day to meditate on what you want and imaging the outcome you begin to bridge the gap. When you are able to bring your mind and body into the experience of bringing the goal into fruition, the space between gets closer and closer. Using your senses to fully engage in the picture and then aligning yourself with action steps will create the desired outcome.

As the New Year approaches, take the time and imagine what it is that you want to be, do or have? Mind the gap. Feel it in your heart and see it in your mind and soon you will have stepped into your future with it.

Are you ready to cross your gap? Need help to mind the gap? Let’s talk, so that you can bridge the gap.

Wishing Everyone a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year!!!!

What Does the Future Hold?

November 17, 2015

ny times photoWhat does the future hold? We are living in times of massive change. Every day seems to be a new challenge. The world is changing rapidly, and if we do not embrace these changes with open arms, we are setting ourselves up for all the unwanted events that will penetrate and infiltrate our minds and body with a vengeance. What the future holds for you is what you make of it. If you resist the changes and continue to live your life from a sense of fear, scarcity and anger that is exactly the kind of world that is going to manifest. What does the future hold? We can all contribute something good to the world. We can all hold a space for the goodness in the world. I hear people say, this world is crazy! It is if you believe it is. There are an infinite number of wonderful things about our world too. If you focus your attention on the gruesome headlines of the news, yes, the world can appear out of control and crazy. That is exactly what the media wants you to believe and feel. Fear controls people. If you look for the good things that are happening and begin to contribute to adding goodness to the world, you will see the changes. We can navigate uncertainty with faith and courage when you trust in yourself and live with love in your heart, rather than fear and violence.  So, what does the future hold? The future is what we all make if it. Create, love, and give of yourself to a world that is only waiting for you to participate. Ask and you shall recieve.
