Happy Independence Day

As America celebrates Independence Day this year, many are not feeling so independent. After being quarantined in our homes for months, our routines disrupted, jobs lost, asked to wear masks and gloves when going out for essentials,  loved ones dying because of this virus, fear spreading everywhere and unrest in the streets, we’ve become more and more depended on a system that is collapsing before our eyes. America was founded on the truth that all men are created equal and we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These principles were encoded with a spiritual energy that when fully understood and implemented created a power connecting humanity to infinite intelligence.

The magnitude of the words that the Declaration for Independence message was revealing has been forgotten. Some how we have strayed so far off course we can not go back to find it. We must now create a new road map. We must forge ahead and construct a path that is sustainable, practical, feasible, flexible, and possible. We must create a new declaration.

I believe that we need to celebrate interdependence. We need each other more than ever. Nothing functions independently in nature. Everything is connected. Our bodies work the same way. Sickness occurs when our cells are miscommunicating with one another. The planet is ailing because we have disconnected with nature. This is the major problem of the world today.

Just like addicts, we have become co-dependent. Relying too heavily on one another weakens the whole. There is a price to pay for freedom, health, happiness, and the good things in life. It is taking responsibility for your thoughts, words, actions, and deeds. What role can you take this Independence Day that will bring this change into the world?  How can you show up differently? Who can you collaborate with to create something positive? Where can you go to look for answers? We are interdependent beings, connected by invisible threads.  When we learn how to communicate harmoniously we will restore life, liberty and be happy!

Once Upon a Time

knowledge-key-to-success-written-vintage-old-book-34949738Once Upon a time, people relied on old knowledge of living off the land rather than shops, for their source of food, clothing and other such necessities.  Our modern world has evolved out of this ancient one. Unfortunately the course we took as a whole, has separated nature out of the equation. Most people have forgotten the old ways. Knowledge is the key to success, and nature is the key to knowledge. When you study nature, all the mysteries of life reveal themselves. All the answers are hidden in the very thing that we over look. Even a single blade of grass has knowledge in it. The natural laws of the universe have been given to us to explore, and live in harmony with. This is our play ground. So why would we want to  decimate our world? I believe that the only reason is, that we forgot about the old knowledge. This is the same reason why there is so much addiction, distraction, depression, and disease. Because we separated from the truth of who we are. We are creators, here to create our best life. To manifest our deep desires, we must connect with nature and the old knowledge. When we become whole in body, mind and spirit, we will remember who we really are. So let’s go back and read the story. Once upon a time when we were all connected.

I Know!

I Know

When something is not healthy, and we know that it is not good for us, but I we do it anyway, I wonder if we really know this. When I coach people to help them move forward in their lives and change their thoughts, I hear them say that they know they must. But sometimes, they don’t, and say they know. So why do we know something, but it seems like we don’t know. If we know that smoking is unhealthy then why do people still smoke? Is it that they just don’t want to have the discomfort of going through withdrawal sysmtoms and pain? The real reason is that there is a disconnect, betwen the mind and body, and until we unite these two there will be ambiguity in our souls and spirit. We must learn to find harmony within us to unit our mind and body. When we think, feel and act in unison, we will being to attract the forces of the universe to aid us on our path. Then we will really know, and now that we know.
