Welcome to the Rat Race

September 12, 2019

“Some people die at 25 and aren’t buried until 75”

Benjamin Franklin

Do you wake up in the morning saying “Good God Morning” or “Good Morning GOD”?

Same exact words, completely different energy!

Do you ever wake up with a pit in your stomach, shuffle off to the bathroom to take a shower, feeling tired and down? You don’t want to go to work, and are already complaining about your job.  You get dressed only to find your clothes are way too tight and don’t fit and feel right on. You say some negative things in your head about your body, wanting to lose weight.   Then you go into the kitchen to make yourself some breakfast while absorbing all the negativity from the newspaper you are reading, and you wonder how you got that agita (indigestion).  You then head on out to work and complain about the traffic or mass transit being late and overcrowded. All these things are just building and building up inside of you.

Now you’re at work and you hear other people complaining about their kids, their wife, husband, mother in-law or who ever…

You look at your phone messages and notice that your phone bill is overdue which stirs up all kinds of anxiety inside you.  This sends you on a spiral of negative thoughts like, there never seems to be enough money at the end of the month. Why can’t I keep track of my money and my bills? Why can’t I ever get a break?

Finally, you get home from work, still feeling tired and don’t have the energy to cook something healthy, so you order a pizza, even though you know you’re going to regret it later. The phone rings and it’s from a friend who starts talking about the same problems that he talks about every day. Before you know it, you’ve spend over an hour listening to his kvetching ( the Yiddish word for complaining) .

By now it is late and you get ready for bed. You put on the TV to watch the news and fall asleep with all the negative news blaring into your subconscious mind, reinforcing the doom and gloom.

This goes on day after day, week after week, month after month.  Before you know it, years have gone by. Your body has gotten more out of shape. You have all sorts of aches and pains, and you’re stuck in the same job complaining about the same things!

Welcome to the rat race! This is no way to live! Stop, get off and start doing what makes you happy.  This is your life we are talking about. live it fully! Through understanding some laws of nature you can jump off the wheel and discover yourself!

2020 is quickly approaching. It is the year of clarity and vision (20/20 vision). It will be the best decision you ever made.

Health Is Your #1 Wealth

August 22, 2019

“Let food be thy medicine and your medicine thy food.”

Hippocrates

Feeling good and having energy to do what you want is so important. I always felt good but I wanted to bump that up to feel great! I always watched what I ate but I knew I could do so much more. My weakness was breads, pastas, cheesy chips and more cheese! Well, I decided to go back to my books on detox, and regain my vitality through wholesome foods. I am now in my 5th week of eating raw and juicing. The cravings were insane! I wanted some form of comfort food sooooooo bad!

But I stuck with it. I can finally say, I made it. My healthy microbiome is finally balanced and the cravings have vanished.  I now feel as Tony the Tiger on Frosted Flakes would say Feeling GREAT! But all that sugar and wheat will never make you feel great. It might give you a sugar high and dopamine rush but in about an hour you will crash and burn! Not healthy. Foods have a vibration, frequency and energy to them too, and the more natural the source the higher the vibration which gets transferred into your body. You have what is called the gut-brain.

Unfortunately our foods have become non-foods. Between genetically-modified, processed up the wazoo, sprayed with pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, BGH (bovine growth hormones) and the preservatives and coloring added, is there any wonder why so many people have diseases?

Your best defense is your offensive.  So, if you want to feel great, cleanse your body and eat foods from the garden. Hire a coach who is knowledgeable in nutrition and really feel the best you can be.

Health is Wealth

October 15, 2014

health is wealthHealth really is your number one wealth. I recently got a cold and just felt run down. I needed to take a few days off to rest up and regain my energy. I just didn’t have the strength to do too much, so I listened to my body and did just that. I take very good care of myself and eat well, meditate, dance for exercise, as well as take long walks. However, in spite of all the care I give myself, I was working too much and not sleeping enough. My body is very sensitive and I know immediately when I over do things. When I don’t feel well, nothing else matters. It doesn’t matter how much money, success, things, or anything else I own. The only things that matters is regaining my health. Health is wealth. I am so grateful to be wealthy. I hope you take the time to stay healthy too.

7 Day Mental Diet

September 24, 2013

positive thinkingWe become what we think about. This is an important truth that so many people forget. Our present living conditions reveal to us what our thoughts have been focused on. We have all heard, we become what we eat, and yes our physical diet is extremely important to our health. However our thoughts, contribute to our health in a much greater way. We become what we think about all day long. So what is on your mind?
Are you up for a mental diet? How about a challenge? Think only positive thought for 7 days. If you should find your mind drifting on to undesirable thoughts, then begin again at once, at that point to start again. Just like a food diet, train your brain to focus on only empowering thoughts. Thoughts that will lift you up. You will amazed as to how your life will improve on every front when you stay connected to the positive and good things around you. We become what we think about and if you want your life to improve in any way, whether it be health, wealth or wisdom, then take the challenge. This will be the hardest work you every did and the most rewarding.
I would love to hear the results of any one who is up for this challenge.
Nothing is good or bad, but thinking makes it so.

New Beginnings

June 18, 2013

new beginnings“Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!”  Geothe

What have you been putting off? Do you desire to start eating healthy, or learning something new? Are you dreaming of being, doing or having something but not sure how to begin?
The staring point is the most challenging part of any new endeavor. This is were we get caught up with procrastination. However this is where the magic lies. Anything great began with one small step. Take the necessary action to begin whatever it is you want. You do not have to know how you will achieve it, you just have to desire it, the how will reveal itself as you take the steps to move toward it.
Take the first step and move forward. If your not moving forward you are falling behind. So take the next step and then the next and the next and soon you will be on the path to your victory.
Onward and upward…

People are dieting in the hopes of looking better in less clothing after a long and cold winter. All this is a great idea, however have you ever thought of going on a mental diet as well? You can gauge your thoughts on how you are feeling at the time. If you feel good and empowered you are on the right wave length. If your feeling down or depressed, angry, frustrated, upset or any of the mired of physical sensations that do not support you, then your thoughts will be reflecting these feelings.

May the Joy be with you.

India in Me

March 19, 2013

081I just returned from a 2 week stay in Chennai India. I was on a spiritual retreat to go deep within myself. I danced, meditated and had yoga classes daily. It was one of the most amazing journeys I’ve ever been on.
I have to say that India was on my goal list, of places to go and experience.
I learned to go deep into meditation and discovered such peace that I will never be the same person after realizing how to obtain this level of bliss.
India is an exotic and extreme place. You will see a bit of everything and you can’t help but to be moved by all your senses and emotions.
It is a soulful place.  The red earth grounds you as the blue skies connects you to the spiritual world above. In between you see an array of colors to entice your body to move gracefully among the space. Water is scarce, poverty is ramped and mystery is every where.
My soul has been touched by a deeper understanding of God and I have transcended to a higher level of awareness. This was my quest which I can now integrate in the core of my being. Ah, India is now in me and I can go there in my mind when ever I desire.
Namaste
