Wait For It!

January 3, 2019

“You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.”

Franz Kafka

We live in a world of instant gratification. If our computers or cell phones aren’t working at lighting speed you might get frustrated pretty quickly. ( I know that is one of my pet peeves.)

Your patience might be running thin in all areas of your life. However if you learn to wait for something to come to you, you will be amazed at what reveals itself to you, when you relax, envision and allow the process of manifestation to unfold. Really, take some time to focus on what it is you want in an easy, unattached way. Just allow your imagination  to become unleashed.

I know every time I have tried to force or get tense about the outcome of something I’ve wanted, it doesn’t happen. But when I play with the vision and see myself in the picture with all my senses, wow, I am amazed at the results I get.

So if you’re looking to make 2019 your best year yet. Create it, direct it, produce it and be the actor in your movie and then watch it unfold.

Here’s to your amazing life!!!

Instant Gratification

January 16, 2013

instant gratificationWe live in a world where people expect instant gratification. We can get information immediately through goggle, or purchase something on the spot with our credit cards or get in touch with anyone at any time. We expect results fast. However there is a law of gestation that must take place in order to produce the desired results of life. These are natural laws that can not be changed, altered or manipulated. A tomato takes 7-14 days to germinate, an elephant takes 18 to 24 months to give birth, a human about 9 months.
We nurture the tomato seed by planting it in good soil, water it, plant it in good sun, fertilize it and then wait. Once its germinated, then we take care of it so it can produce plenty of tomatoes.
Well the same goes for an idea. Although we don’t know exactly when an idea will germinated into reality we do know the same laws apply. If we plant the seed (idea) in a positive mind, nurture it by thinking of it often in a relaxed state, take some action every day toward its results it will  get born. It has to. But don’t expect instant gratification. Planting and harvesting does not come in the same season. You will be rewarded by the bounty with patience, tending your garden and preparation.
A time to plant and a time to reap.
There is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven.
