What Do You Resonate With?

August 14, 2019

“I choose things by how they resonate in my heart.”

Rita Coolidge

Resonance is an interesting phenomena. It is an invisible energy that gets transferred from one object to another through vibration and frequency. I’m sure you’ve all heard of an opera singer being able to shatter a crystal glass when she is able to sing  a pitch that resonates on the same frequency as the glass. Or tuning forks that that get activated when one is stroked .

The earth has a resonance as well as everything else in the universe. Your thoughts have resonance too. What you think and feel are like invisible currents vibrating out from you. Everything is connected and what you are projecting has an effect on others. When you have people that get together with the same purpose, powerful shifts can occur. This energy can be used for good intentions or ill intentions.

Let’s resonate love, peace, compassion, creativity and positive things rather than destructive ones which do damage.  You have the power. Collectively we can change the world and create heaven on earth. Let’s do that!

Watch this short video and see how a bridge designed to withstand winds up to 120 miles per hour collapsed from only 40 miles per do to resonance.

Merry Christmas!

December 20, 2018

The Holidays are here and will be gone before you know it. There are many people who go all out and decorate, cook, shop, entertain, go to many parties and do all sorts things for Christmas. Then there are those who don’t. I used to go all out during the Holiday’s but have decided to scale back tremendously!

I want to celebrate more from my heart this year then by all the trimmings. I want to feel the spirit rather than go buy things. But that’s just me. There is no right way or wrong way to enjoy Christmas. This year I am taking  the time to reflect and rejoice the feeling of the season in my heart. There are so many people who are hurting and in pain. I want to send abundant love, peace and serenity to the world.

That is the gift I am giving this year. So however you decide to celebrate Christmas this year, please keep your heart open to give peace and love. This is what the world needs more than anything these days!

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, with love!

Happy Thanksgiving

November 22, 2018

Greetings,

During the Holidays, it might be challenging for many to feel happy or peaceful when you get together with family members due to past or present hurts and emotional pain. Emotions may come up that cause you shut down, get angry, or feel betrayed. Old wounds surface if someone says or does something that triggers you. It isn’t easy dealing with the people closest to us at times. They are the ones that can press your buttons and know what buttons  to press to get a reaction out of you.

Your feelings are your best guidance system. They are there to let you know exactly what you need to heal inside of you. When they surface, pay attention to them. Don’t dismiss them by drowning them with to much alcohol, numbing yourself with drugs or  stuffing yourself with to much food. Instead, read an inspirational passage in a book, watch an uplifting movie, volunteer for a few hours to those less fortunate, take a walk or whatever brings joy into your heart. If you need to dismiss yourself from the gathering to protect yourself, that too is OK.

Thanksgiving is about giving thanks, being grateful and appreciating what you do have and feeling good will connect you with those emotions.

May your Thanksgiving be filled with peace, love and joy!

Cry Baby Cry

October 25, 2018

When you hold back your tears, you only amplify the emotions your body is trying to release through crying.

Source Unknown

I just recently came back home from visiting my daughter out in Seattle Washington. What a beautiful part of the country! We went camping in her tiny RV home Big Foot.

We explored Olympic National Park and the coastal region. It was pure bliss to be engulfed by nature. After we settled back to our vacation home overlooking Mount Rainier. The view was absolutely spectacular.

Every morning I woke up to the howling of wolves that were at a wildlife preserve near by and this majestic mountain. I witnessed an eagle soar down to catch a fish and an otter who graced us with her presence now and again. It was truly magical. I had tears of joy being present to all natures bounty.

However, I also had tears of sorrow, hurt and emotional pain over an encounter my daughter and I had. Some old feelings and wounds were brought up that really felt awful. We both felt the separation and disconnect from our different interpretation of an event.  My eyes filled with tears over this.  Crying is a healthy release of emotions. It releases stress and actually makes you feel better afterwards.  My baby girl is so strong, independent and and a beautiful free spirit. After expressing my hurt to her and letting her know what I was feeling, both our hearts expanded. The love poured open and tears of joy now gushed out.

You see, when you are open and honest with your feelings and able to communicate how you feel in a healthy way, you will uplift the pain and emotional bondage that keeps you blocked from the love you have to give and the love that is there for you to receive.

So if you feel like crying, let it out!

Generosity Begins in Your Mind

October 19, 2016

charityWhere there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance.

Francis of Assisi

This is a powerful quote! I feel very strongly about giving to charities. There are so many that I would want to give to, however I choose a few that I feel are close to my heart! When I give to them I feel love in my heart and empowered! There is no fear when love abounds and there is no ignorance when wisdom is present!

Give freely from your heart to the charity of your choice and you will feel abundance grow from everywhere! Love has no limits, there is plenty to go around. Know that there is plenty for all when we allow our minds and hearts to open to this wisdom.

The Way You Do the Thngs You Do

June 9, 2015

Did you know, that the way you do one thing is the way you do everything. How do you wash dishes, or fold laundry? Or what are your daily habits? Do you eat healthy foods and take care of your body? Do you take time to read and nourish your mind? Or do you rush through your life, not paying much attention to any small act? It’s really the small things that add up to the bigger ones. Are you even conscious of your breath? By taking the time and consciously becoming aware of the seemingly little things in your life, everything will improve. The way you do one thing is the way you do everything. Every act, thought, and feeling, that you have effects your being. They may appear, subtle, minute, and not important, however, they become apart of your makeup. Your character is influenced by the accumulation of all the small things. The way you do one thing is the way you do everything. So examine your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Become the observer of your own life. The next time you wash dishes, or make your bed, or cook a meal, consciously become aware of the process and add a dash of love to any and everything you do. You will be amazed at what a difference it will make in your life. Its the little things, add up to the bigger ones. Everything you do matters!the way you do the things you do

Navigating Uncertainy With Faith and Courage

March 10, 2015

courage

Courage, defined by the dictionary, means; 1- The state or quality of mind or spirit that enables one to face danger and overcome fear. 2- Heart; mind, disposition. Heart, as the seat of feeling . I love how the definition describes it as really about coming from the heart.

Courage is not about ego, it’s about feeling your fear and taking that leap of faith anyway. I know in my life, I am faced with challenging situations many times. If I quite my mind, ask God for help, then do the thing that I think I can not do, I am able to gracefully confront my fear and overcome the challenge. I become courageous. Every time I am able to take that step forward, a gain more and confidence in myself, and know that all will be provided for. It is an act of love, and love is all there really is. So, the next time your confronted with a difficult challenge, and aren’t sure which way to turn, you can navigate uncertainty with faith and courage. Trust in The infinite intelligence that is surrounding you always, and allow your heart to open to the answers. Act with courage, and you will always come from love.
