Get Ready to Rumble

October 6, 2020

It’s time for us to join the line of the madmen, all chained together.

Time to be totally free and estranged….

To set fire to structures and run out in the street.

Time to ferment. How else can we leave the world-vat and go to the lip?

We must die to become true human beings.

Rumi

America has lost another great icon, Ruth Bader Ginsburg aka the notorious RBG!

Ruth Bader Ginsburg devoted her life to justice, values, ethics, morality, truth, and honor. She fought tirelessly for positive change and to create a system that is fair for all people. She chose her words wisely, knowing that what you say, how you say it, and when you say it can shift the outcome of a debate. RBG was a small woman that played in a big man’s world and conquered it. She was fearless. She was determined. She was courageous. She was compassionate and intelligent. How she governed her life and her work gave young girls and women a roadmap to follow. Her legacy will live on as an example of what anyone could accomplish if they led with their heart and use their minds for the ultimate good.

Our world is changing ever so rapidly and what is needed more than ever is the understanding that we are all connected. Whether you are running a corporation, a business, or a household, without treating each other with respect and valuing others, growth and success will never long endure. Money has two (2) purposes, to make you more comfortable and to serve others. If there is any other motive for its attainment, such as power or fame, then corruption will slowly infiltrate the mind and eventually destroy morals and values.

The world is waking up to a new paradigm. Women and men who stand up for each other, who are willing to fight for justice and equal rights for all. RBG was such a woman. She never raised her voice. She spoke with a steady, composed, and calm voice to make herself be heard. She was a force to be reckoned with. No wealth or position will long endure without truth and justice. Wisdom comes with experience. Experience comes from applied knowledge, and applied knowledge comes from study. From the words of the notorious RBG, “Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time.” RIP

Stand Up, Speak Up, Step Up

“If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.”

Malcolm X

How important are your rights, your values, your morals, your freedom and how you live? You and I have choices as to how we want to live and what matters to us. If you do not put your morals, values and integrity first, anything will sway you to comprise them. That is how important it is to stand by beliefs that just and righteous. This is way different than wanting to be right, this is being open minded and standing up when everyone else is following the crowd.

Ed Stack, the owner of Dick’s Sporting Goods, did just that. He wrote a book It’s How We Play The Game, Build a Business That Takes a Stand. Make a Difference. He did something extraordinary, he stopped selling guns of all kinds. He decided that after all the mass shootings, he couldn’t ethically stand by and watch this continue. It cost his company a whopping quarter of a billion dollars. Let me say that again, a quarter of a billion dollars! He put lives before people. Now that’s integrity!

He is an example of what one person can do to make a huge impact and difference in the future of our country and world. Who will be next to take a stand for change in the multi billion dollar conglomerate giants? Let’s face it there are lots of changes that desperately need to take place to create a more peaceful, healthy and sound world. By each and every one of us, to take a stand for something that touches our hearts, can be the spring board for larger companies to change their policies. Whether  it’s animal rights, child welfare, climate change, healthy food choices or anything that needs reform. Stand up, speak up and step up. Now more than ever, we need your voice to be heard.
