The Great Awakening

December 31, 2020

We all have gone through some major changes since the beginning of 2020. So many adjustments, changes, revaluations, and patience were required to navigate through these uncertain times. As you reflect, what have you discovered about yourself that you weren’t aware of before? Did you take the time to learn any thing new? If not, now is the perfect time to go on a deep dive to applying, understanding and studying the principles of life that will surely wake you, shake you and take you on the ride of your life for 2021!

There is something mysterious and magical that happens when you finally are ready to free your mind, heart, and spirit. When you say YES to you and begin believing in yourself.

Here are seven questions to ask yourself this New Year, that I received from one of my mentors.

1-What do you hope for this coming year that is different from other years?

2-How do you want to improve your life this year?

3-What do you want to contribute to your community to make it a better place?

4-How do you want to be different by the end of the year?

5-Whose life do you want to improve and how will you do that?

6-What changes are unfolding in your life that you need to cooperate with and what does that mean?

7-In what ways or ways do you want to deepen your spiritual life?

Take some time to contemplate your answers and hold them near and dear to your heart to raise your vibration.

And most of all, remember to play, dance and sing every day!

Wishing you and your family a happy, healthy, and peaceful New Year!

It’s A Mistake

May 31, 2018

We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future.                                                           Steve Maraboli

I have made a ton of mistakes in my life. I continue to make them. Every time I fail or take a wrong turn, I do my best to see what I can do differently. How can I improve in some way?

I used to beat myself up over my mistakes, however I have learned that to move forward I need to forgive myself and do better today. Here is an acronym John C. Maxwell created to help him keep mistakes in perspective.

M-messages that give us feedback about life.

I-interruptions that should cause us to reflect and think.

S-signposts that direct us to the right path.

T-tests that push us to greater maturity.

A-awakenings that keep us in the game mentally.

K-keys that we can use to unlock the next door of opportunity.

E-explorations that let us journey where we’ve never been before.

S-statements about our development and progress.

So the next time you make a mistake, just know that you can climb out of the hole that you might think you are in. It is never to late to start again. Just keep moving forward and take a new path.

Changes

September 23, 2014

seasons changeThe autumn has arrived. A change of season. This time of year is one of my favorites, however, I do feel the shift within me to become a little sad. I love the summer and I am always sorry to see it go. The shorter days, cooler weather and dying of the summer flowers creates a space within me to reflect on the  things that I must let go of. It is a time to begin to go inward and look at what I am ready to release. Change, is inevitable. The question is, are you willing to change? Are you willing to go inward and reflect on what you desire to create and make new. Collectively we can create a world that is changing for the good. Look within yourself, you will find the answer to do something new, something bold and something beautiful!

change it up!
