You’ve Got to Feel to Heal

December 2, 2020

All great changes are proceeded by chaos.

Deepak Chopra

There is no denying that the world is in crisis. I feel that everyone is feeling the effects that have shifted how we are living our lives.

What are you yearning for? What is it that you feel is missing? What do you believe has been taken away from your life? How can we change? How has our social systems kept us from reaching our full potential? The paradigms that have been controlling every aspect of how we live our lives are crumbling before our eyes. We are being stripped down to the very core of our being, to reexamine what we truly value. It is like being an addict hitting rock bottom. I believe collectively that is what we are going through. Until we face and feel our pain, hurt, fears, insecurities, guilt, and shame, we will continue to suffer and create the delusion of stability. What might you be addicted to? A position, power, fam, money, food, material objects, sex, drugs, alcohol, work, a relationship, your phone, TV, gambling, shopping, stinken thinking or what is referred to as the ism’s. How can we give the world our best when we have become numb to ourselves? In the book The Paradigm Conspiracy the authors write “ The call to name addiction as addictions, pain as pain, system craziness as system craziness, and the control paradigm as soul-violating is according to wisdom teachings, the wake-up call from our souls.”

The First Step is admitting we are in pain.

The Second Step is waking up to your souls calling and

The Third Step is reclaiming your innate creative powers.

Through this process we withdraw our commitment to a paradigm that is not working and start evolving a new one. The word conspire comes from conspirare, which means to “breath together”.  A cultural paradigm begins with each person stepping out of the old and breathing something new.

You are more than just your physical body. You are a part of the collective whole. To paraphrase Claude Levi-Strauss, we are the universe coming together in a unique way so that transforming experiences can happen. If we don’t live our souls, what could have happened doesn’t.

A poem from Rumi:

This is how a human being can change:

There’s a worm addicted to eating grape leaves.

Suddenly, he wakes up,

Call it Grace, whatever, something wakes him, and he’s no longer a worm

He’s the entire vineyard,

And the orchard too, the fruit, the trunks, a growing wisdom and joy,

That doesn’t need to devour.”

Get Ready to Rumble

It’s time for us to join the line of the madmen, all chained together.

Time to be totally free and estranged….

To set fire to structures and run out in the street.

Time to ferment. How else can we leave the world-vat and go to the lip?

We must die to become true human beings.

Rumi

America has lost another great icon, Ruth Bader Ginsburg aka the notorious RBG!

Ruth Bader Ginsburg devoted her life to justice, values, ethics, morality, truth, and honor. She fought tirelessly for positive change and to create a system that is fair for all people. She chose her words wisely, knowing that what you say, how you say it, and when you say it can shift the outcome of a debate. RBG was a small woman that played in a big man’s world and conquered it. She was fearless. She was determined. She was courageous. She was compassionate and intelligent. How she governed her life and her work gave young girls and women a roadmap to follow. Her legacy will live on as an example of what anyone could accomplish if they led with their heart and use their minds for the ultimate good.

Our world is changing ever so rapidly and what is needed more than ever is the understanding that we are all connected. Whether you are running a corporation, a business, or a household, without treating each other with respect and valuing others, growth and success will never long endure. Money has two (2) purposes, to make you more comfortable and to serve others. If there is any other motive for its attainment, such as power or fame, then corruption will slowly infiltrate the mind and eventually destroy morals and values.

The world is waking up to a new paradigm. Women and men who stand up for each other, who are willing to fight for justice and equal rights for all. RBG was such a woman. She never raised her voice. She spoke with a steady, composed, and calm voice to make herself be heard. She was a force to be reckoned with. No wealth or position will long endure without truth and justice. Wisdom comes with experience. Experience comes from applied knowledge, and applied knowledge comes from study. From the words of the notorious RBG, “Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time.” RIP

Addicted To The Madness!

The quieter you become the more you are able to hear.

Rumi

Last Friday, I took the train into New York to meet up with some friends and visit the Met. They are celebrating by having an exhibit of the fiftieth anniversary of Apollo 11 moon landing that took place on July 20,1969. It was fascinating and I highly recommend seeing it. But it got me thinking, of how absolutely quiet it must be in space. and the absence of any sound.

To get to the museum, I walked a few blocks and then took the subway there. The noise level on the streets was off the charts! Between the sirens, trucks and cars beeping there horns, and the stimulus from other things was over whelming. Thank God, I am able to stay grounded and be aware of the noise without getting sucked into all, but, I gotta say that I couldn’t wait to get out of the city. It can rattle your nervous system to a point were you just become numb and addicted to it all.

We are not meant to live like this. It isn’t healthy. Yes, you can learn to adjust to all the noise but you will never get in touch with your authentic self if you aren’t taking the time to be in nature. Going to the moon has shown mankind how vital and precious our beautiful blue planet really is. Connect to Mother Earth, embrace all the wonders and the natural resources that she has to offer. And most importantly, listen to the silence.

The Web of Energy

You are not a drop in the ocean but an entire ocean in a drop.                Rumi

Everything is connected and the more I become aware of this truth the more I am able to dance with the energy of life.  I used to take things so seriously and thought that life was unfair. I didn’t understand the laws of the universe and how my thoughts were actually creating my reality. After studying and applying the principles that govern all of existence, I now see that everything is effected by consciousness. We are the co-creators of what ever we desire. By focusing on something I can bring it into existence. If I worry about something too much, I will attract it. If I concentrate on a positive desire and really hold it in my thoughts with a playful spirit, that too will manifest.

Life is a dance of energy that vibrates. How can we actually apply these laws into our life? Take time every day to picture what you want to create. Money, a healthy relationship, a home, world peace, what ever it is keep your focus on it. Unfortunately the majority of people either don’t believe this or don’t practice it.

There are many tools, techniques and strategies to hone your skills to be an expert manifestor.  Ask me how!

Let’s create together. I would love to talk with you!
