Aspire Higher

November 3, 2020

Aspire to be a giver. To give more love. Give hope. Give strength. Give positivity.

I am a first generation American. Both my parents were Holocaust survivors. They came to this country with little money, very few possessions and no family, but with many aspirations. They did not speak the language, they had no work or resources, however they had hopes for a better life.

This is my moms’ hand. She will 91 in a few days. This is the hand of a woman who was in forced labor as a child, who saw bombs dropping from the sky every day for years. Who didn’t know if she would ever see her family again or find shelter, warmth from the cold winters, have food on her plate or have the luxuries that we so easily take for granted.

My father had to witness seeing his father off on a cattle car, never to be seen or heard of ever again. Fortunately, he was able to get off to London England on the Kinder Transport. He was put into a labor camp to work as a young boy. He was alone without any whereabouts of his mother and had no siblings. It was dark times. They both saw horrible things that were etched into their psyche. Despite all the evil they endured, they had hope, aspirations, strength, and love in their hearts. This is what humanity is about.

We are here to create, to get inspired, to expand our consciousness, to be in awe of the wonders of nature and seek ways to cooperate with one another. We are all connected. The more we truly grasp this realization the more we can start to open our hearts so we can play and work together. WE are living in the greatest evolution in human history. We are witnessing the birth of a new world. As with any birthing process comes labor pains. If we want our freedom, there is a price to pay. Just like a seedling breaking through the top layer of the hard soil, you too must find your inner strength to reach higher, to aspire to seek the light!

What do you want to create? What are your aspirations? What is your vision for a better tomorrow?  There is a new world and a new humanity struggling to be born. We are Awakening to ourselves.

Enjoy this beautiful version of Hallelujah!

Trials and Tribulations

July 29, 2014

trials and trbulations“In order, for faith to grow, adversity must be faced. Through trials and tribulations, strength is found.” Faith Tiley Johnson”

Recently, I have been faced with a trial. One that required making a decision that wasn’t easy to make. It caused someone to be very disappointed, however I knew that it was for my highest good. It was a trial for me. I have been faced with many trials and tribulations in my life, and they have shaped me into the person I am today. A strong, confident, and faithful woman. How about you? Is your life smooth sailing or are you faced with trials and tribulations? In order to grow and become strong you must withstand the storms of life. So turn your mess into a message, a test into a testimony, a trial into a triumph and a victim into a victory!

Get Uncomfortable

June 24, 2014

outside your comfort zoneLife really does begin outside your comfort zone. Playing it safe will never develop character, strength, or confidence. If you want more you must stretch yourself. Becoming a public speaker is most people’s number one fear. It certainly was for me. My voice used to crackle if I had to speak in public. But now, I love it! I overcame my fear because I wanted to be an empowerment coach. I didn’t allow the fear to stop me from pursuing my desire. I urge you to go ahead and step into your uncomfortable zone. What is it that you want? Give it a try. Then do it again and again. Soon, you will have gotten comfortable with what at one time was uncomfortable. Then you will have to stretch again to reach the next level of what ever makes you uncomfortable. You see, life is always expanding and expressing. So step outside your comfort zone to develop your character, strength, and confidence. I’m sure you will be happy that you did!
