People will fight for what’s familiar then fight for their desires.
What do you believe? A belief is only a thought that you have been holding on to for a long time. It is not necessarily the truth. Beliefs can change. As children, many of you believed in Santa Claus. But as we got older our parents or someone shattered that belief.
Maybe you were brought up to believe that rich people aren’t good, or you have to work hard to get wealthy, or you will never amount to much. What ever you heard, saw or experienced growing up does not mean it’s set in stone. It is only a belief system. The only problem is that the B S you have grown up to believe, is now your B S!
You’ve got to question if those belief systems are actually working for you. Do you feel stuck, frustrated, angry, confused, doubtful? These are signs! Do you want more from life? You’ve got to change your belief systems.
Think, question, read, discover, investigate and research what is working in your life and what you want to change. Don’t settle for the B S, go and create the life you desire. Learn, grow, expand, express and seek new beliefs that will work for you, not against you.
It’s all B S. The question is what are you buying into?

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time. Thomas Edison
How many times have you hit a brick wall when you’re working hard on a project or idea you want to manifest? You just find that you’ve tried and tried but nothing is showing up. Do you give up or to you continue?
I’ve heard it said that the difference between try and triumph is a little umph.
In Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich, he talks about a true story of a man who discovered a gold mine but he needed money to purchase the tools to excavate the mother load out of the ground. He borrowed money from his relatives to buy the equipment necessary to dig for it. Unfortunately he hit a wall and found no gold, so he gave up 3 feet from the where the gold was to be found. He sold the equipment to a junk yard dealer who was smart enough to hire an engineer who knew all about how gold is mined, and eureka he discovered the gold.
I know it can be really challenging to keep going when the money gets tight or you’re not seeing what you want. But if you believe in your dream, if you have a strong vision, calling and purpose, keep going. Ask for help and keep moving forward with a positive attitude. You could be 3 feet from your own gold.
If you’re feeling stuck, I can work with you. Let’s talk.

Persistence is the key ingredient in achieving anything you desire from life. It is holding to a course of continued action, belief, and purpose without giving in or giving up. Napoleon Hill wrote in his book Think and Grow Rich, “There may be no heroic connotation to the word persistence, but the quality is to a person’s character what carbon is to steel.” Persistence is a habit that will begin to cultivate, when you realize your life’s purpose, have a strong desire, and strengthen your will. Set goals for yourself and follow through on them.
Nothing worthwhile in life comes without struggles to overcome. There are no cheap goods in the heavenly market, and everything worth having is expensive. Surround yourself with people who will lift you up, and are pursuing their own dreams, have faith and take action every day toward your dream. The opposite of persistence is procrastination, this is truly an enemy. It will keep you stuck, weak and create all kinds of excuses why you can not accomplish something. Face yourself honestly and openly, challenge yourself, to overcome this habit. Believe in yourself and know that you can not fail if you persist, and move in the direction of your dream. For every failure brings with it the seed of an equivalent success.
The philosopher Henry David Thoreau quoted “If you advance confidently in the direction of your dream, and live the life you can image, you will meet with success, unexpected in common hours.” Go live your dream.

Take a leap of faith and begin this wondrous new year by believing. Believe in yourself. And believe that there is a loving Source – a Sower of Dreams – just waiting to be asked to help you make your dreams come true.

Wow, what a marvelous year it has been for me! I hope everyone was able to capture the moments of your life with joy and celebration. I have been blessed to have shared the stage with some of the best speakers in the world. Bob Proctor, Les Brown, Michael Beckwith, Jack Canfield, Mary Morrissey, just to name a few. I traveled abroad and I just returned from a trip to Alaska, yes, you heard me correct, Alaska. So many people asked me why I was heading to Alaska in the winter and my reply was why not? It was such a magical trip. Life should be a glorious adventure. If you have an opportunity to go somewhere, and do something, take it! Experience all life has to offer. Don’t get me wrong, I had some major challenges as well. I shared some trying times with friends and family members who are going through some life threatening illness and other changes that have tested their faith. I don’t think there is anyone who is not going through some sort of life change. The key is having the support and resources to navigate through them.
What is it that you want for your life for 2017? Do you want to travel to exotic lands, or perhaps you want to give your time to a charitable cause? Maybe you dream of starting your own business. Do you have health goals? Maybe this is the year you want to meet that special someone. Why not invest New Years day on thinking of the person you want to become. Write down everything you would like to manifest and see it all coming to fruition. Don’t waste another year just dreaming about it, take some action to create it!
Les Brown said, most people die at age 25 and don’t get buried until they are 65.
If you want to begin your New Year with a BIG impact, join me in an eight week Master Mind class based on the book Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill starting January 3rd, in the comfort of your own home.
Wishing you and your family a glorious Holiday and the very best for the New Year,
