The Next Innovation

August 27, 2013

innovationChildren are natural innovators. They always asking questions. Why is the grass green? Why is the sky blue? How does that airplane fly? Where do babies come from? They are curious, and have a desire to learn. Some times they come up with some marvelous and  ingenious answers. We need to cultivate that curiosity as they grow to be adults. With that mind frame they will be our next innovators.
The definition of innovation is:
1 : the introduction of something new 2 : a new idea, method, or device
Innovation is the key to creating some thing new. It starts with thinking of a way to improve a situation or thing, that can help people in some way. It starts with an idea, then it needs to be cultivated continuously, for that idea to take root and manifest into its physical counter part. Instead if thinking about a problem, think about what can be done about the problem to unleash a solution. Through innovation, an idea, will pop into your head as to how to resolve the issue. Without innovation we would still be in the dark ages. Now more than ever we need innovators to resolve the problems of today’s world. The answers are all there, ready to be tapped into. All we need to do is allow the ideas to flow to us.
The next few years we will see amazing innovations, shaping and changing the world for the better. You too can be on the cutting edge of the verge of innovation. All you need to ask is how can I make this world better and your on your way.

Too Much Information

April 10, 2013

analog informationWe are living in times where we are being bombarded by information. However, is the information we are receiving really accurate?  We are addicted to “digital information. This is information that, like a digital signal, is made up of bits and pieces broken off from the whole. There is another form of information called analog information, which comes to us as a wave. An article that I recently read by Philip Shepherd explains it this way, “Indigenous Polynesian sailors use information from the ocean waves to navigate their way across the Pacific and find an island up to five hundred miles away- an unimaginable feat to the colonial Europeans who first encountered them and still sometimes got lost even with sextants and compasses. This native navigational tradition was suppressed and prohibited by the Europeans, but it has survived. Navigators are chosen in infancy and are placed in tidal pools for hours, feeling the water’s rhythms and currant.”
They were attuned to the energy of the earth. Something we have forgotten.
Everything effects everything else. This is the butterfly effect. There is so much this earth has to teach us if we are open to receive this information as a whole and not in fragmented pieces. Listen from your Hara, your gut, and get out of your head. Be still and know that you are God.

There Are No Coincidences

April 18, 2012

A coincidence is an event notable for its occurring in conjunction with other conditions, e.g. another event. As such, a coincidence occurs when something uncanny, accidental and unexpected happens under conditions named, but not under a defined relationship. When there are no conditions named, the event is just that single entity. The word is derived from the Latin cum- (“with”, “together”) and incidere (a composed verb from “in” and “cadere”: “to fall on”, “to happen”). In science, the term is generally used in a more literal translation, e.g., referring to when two rays of light strike a surface at the same point at the same time. In this usage of coincidence, there is no implication that the alignment of events is surprising, noteworthy or non-causal.

One thing is certain about coincidence. The phenomenon fascinates believers and skeptics alike. It’s a porthole into one of the most interesting philosophical questions we can ask: Are the events of our lives ultimately objective or subjective? Is there a deeper order, an overarching purpose to the universe? Or are we the lucky accidents of evolution, living our precious but brief lives in a fundamentally random world that has only the meaning we choose to give it?

I have come to the understanding that the more mindful we become, the more  synchronicity occurs. We can create our future through intentional thought waves.
So the next time a coincidence occurs in your life, embrace the moment with knowing that you are exactly where you need to be. Life is revealing its DNA for your eyes only!
