Words Create Worlds

September 5, 2019

“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”

Albert Einstein

If there is one constant in life it is change. This is good news because if you aren’t happy with any part of your life, you can change it. In order to change your personal reality, you must change your personality. In order to change your personality, you must change the conversation you are having with yourself. We live in a river of change and everything is connected. Our six hundred trillion cells are self-regulating themselves every second of every day.  You are not the same person you were yesterday. When your cells are in harmonious communication with each other you experience homeostasis. When they’re not you experience some sort of emotional and or physical pain. This all stems from resistance to change.

It takes courage to change. To transform our words, thinking, habits and  patterns takes a conscious awareness. But if we don’t, we become rigid, and if we become too rigid, we will collapse. Staying open to change is staying open to possibilities. When we can communicate with ourselves and each other in a healthy way, we can create the life we truly want. Our words have incredible energy behind them. They resonate in our bodies and send out a ripple vibration into the world. Words create worlds. Use them wisely.

I’d Like to Get to Know You

February 27, 2019

“To get to the next level of greatness depends on the quality of the culture, which depends on the quality of relationships, which depends on the quality of conversations. Everything happens through conversations.”

 Judith E. Glaser

Why is it that negative conversations and comments stay with us so much longer than a positive one? If we are in a fight or argument with our co-worker, boss, spouse, friend, or relative, we tend to hold on to those emotions much longer than when we are getting along and cooperating.

Well it has to do with how we are wired. Our brains release hormones and neuro-peptides such as adrenaline and cortisol when we are stressed, angry or feeling bad. These chemicals last for 26 hours or more in our blood stream.

When we are happy and feeling good, we release the chemical oxytocin. This is the love hormone, or what is called the tend and befriend hormone.

Unfortunately, oxytocin does not stay in our bodies very long, so it must be replenished often. The good news is that when we become aware of this, we can change the way we communicate with others to down regulate the stress hormones and up regulate the feel-good ones.

One of the best ways to do this is by looking into the eyes of the person you are talking to.

Being mindful of how our behaviors affect others is key to building trust and transforming a conversation from negative and stress producing one to a positive and cooperative one.

The bottom line is this, a defining question for your company is: What is the quality of the emotional relationships here?

By learning a few tools, strategies, and techniques you can change the dynamics of the environment where everyone feels good. And when everyone feels the love, productivity goes way up too.

Understanding the Neuroscience of Conversations and applying this wisdom inside companies transforms individuals, teams, and organizations and opens new pathways for mutual success.

Are you ready to transform your company?

Let Go Of My Ego

October 12, 2017

Ego, we all have one. Our egos are the attachment to our self-image. When we are aware of our ego, we will have a healthy balance of self-esteem and self worth. If we believe we are superior to others we will act in ways that will express this identity through gaining power and authority over others. If we believe we are inferior or unworthy we will have an ego that shows us that this is true too.

Either way, these are false images.  Being aware of our ego and not attaching to the self-image of who we think we are is how we can go beyond self limiting beliefs about ourselves.

I know that when I was a teenager, I never felt confident in myself. I felt I wasn’t good enough. It was a trying time for me. My father got sick when I was 15 years old and then passed away 2 years later. During these years it was very difficult for me to see past my ego that identified with not being loved and feelings of unworthiness.

It was a heavy burden to carry. After seeking help and counseling, I became aware that this wasn’t the truth. I was able to see beyond my ego and transform these limiting beliefs that keep me a prisoner of my own thinking.

When you feel your ego trying to edge in and get the better of you, stop and talk to yourself. Take a deep breath and become aware of what is going on. Maybe you need to speak up or maybe you need to meditate on something to gain clarity. Turn off the noise outside of you and inside of you. Listen to the quite voice within. The ego is loud and boastful, your authentic spirit is gentle, loving and kind.

Need more help? Reach out and listen to your inner voice that is always guiding you.

Feeling Tension?

September 14, 2016

“Feeling tension does not mean something is wrong. It means something is working.” Graham Cooke

The  energy that you may be feeling can be used for fuel for tension or your intention!

How many times a day are you being pulled in so many directions? I know I have many things on my schedule every day! Between appointments, and emails, calls, and juggling my business and personal life can get quite hectic. I can feel the tension build if I am not aware of using that feeling for constructive purposes. The feeling of that pressure is just energy. Once we label that energy as tension or something negative we are already moving away from being productive to destructive.

So the next time you are feeling tension, remember that something is working and  something is building. Fuel it with your intention to create something positive. Become aware of your thoughts, your feeling and actions to propel you forward with passion to fuel your purpose!

Need more guidance as to how to transform your tension into intention, reach out and call me for more tips and tools!!

Have an empowered day!!!

Our Great Transformer

December 29, 2015

transformerOur Brain is the great transformer connecting spirit to our bodies. Our bodies are our temple and the energy coming through and to us is transformed into thought waves through our brain. It is the transmitting station allowing consciousness to flow into our awareness. If we are not centered, grounded and present, our energy will be altered and our nerves system will show signs of emotional discord, pains, stress and other misalignment’s. It is as if the circuitry system is not getting the energy to the proper channels.

When we are eating  healthy foods, meditating to center our being and living a purpose driven life, we connect to the spirit world through our great transformer and allow the energy to flow freely to and through us.  Our minds are then able to think clearly which will give us the able to manifest our desires.

We have been given this incredible gift to transform spirit into reality. The brain is that switching station.

My wish for you is to manifest your highest intentions! Let’d create something spectacular for 2016.  After all we are all spiritual beings having a human experience.
